Another big Congratulations to Kameron James Rose, past president of Kansas Gamma and current active member. Kameron participated in the K-State Gates Capital Management Stock Pitch Competition and his team placed first overall in the competition! Way to go Kameron!

Congratulations to Andrew Horn, Kansas Gamma Alum and current Kinesiology doctoral student at Kstate for receiving a prestigious fellowship with the National Istitutes of Health. Way to go Andrew! Good luck from your brothers of Kansas Gamma!

Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award, or F31, which supports doctoral students in receiving mentored research training while conducting research in scientific health-related fields.”

Iron Phi: Join the Brotherhood of Athletes

Brother Jonathan Eden, Alumnus of Kansas Gamma, will be participating in the Bataan Memorial Death March Full Marathon this coming March, in New Mexico. This will be his second time participating in this event.

Brother Eden is trying to raise money for our National Philanthropy the ALS Foundation, by participating as an Iron Phi this time around. A requirement for the title of Iron Phi is that the participant needs to raise at least $1000 dollars to go towards the ALS Foundation on behalf of the Kansas Gamma Chapter of Phi Delta Theta.

Annual, week-long philanthropy event to benefit the ALS Association and Toys for Tots

-features a gingerbread house competition and a lip sync battle-

The second annual Phive Days of Christmas ended with a lip sync battle between the sororities. Afterwords, final points were tallied and the overall winner was announced. Congratulations to the women of Sigma Kappa for being the champions this year!
We greatly appreciate all who participated this week as well as our philanthropy chairmen for organizing everything.

There has been a slight change to the schedule for this week:
Buffalo Wild Wings night is on Monday, and Ice Skating at City Park is on Tuesday.

Save the image of the BWW ticket! Present it to your server, and 10% of the proceeds will go to the ALS Association.

Those dressed in Christmas costumes will be eligible to win door prizes during ice skating.

The Phive Days of Christmas benefitting, The ALS Association and Toys for Tots, begins on Sunday. We are excited to host this fun event for great causes!

Last weekend, the Phikeia visited their pledge brother's farm for their Phikeia Retreat. Jake Fleming's father underwent knee surgery yesterday, so they helped his family by cutting and hauling wood. It was a great opportunity for them to have some fun, grow closer as a pledge class, and help out a very deserving family.
