FHA is increasing the loan limits in the below DFW counties!

DFW: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise – All have been increased to $310,500.

The prior loan limit for 2014 was $287,500 and previously the long time limit was $271,500.

These limits are effective on all FHA Loans Originated starting January 1st 2015

Previously an FHA buyer putting 3.5% down would leave us with a purchase price of $298,000. With this increase our new purchase price is about $322,000. That is a $24,000 increase!
