A whopping 146 golfers teed off at the stunning TPC River Highlands in Cromwell for a day of birdies, bogeys, and big-hearted giving. Thanks to your generous support, we raised an impressive $157,000 to help purchase a new CT scanner for our community! ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐

The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at MidState Medical Center recently received a generous grant from After the Storm Inc. to support the hospitalโs integrative therapy programs. After the Storm helps cancer survivors transition from โsurvivingโ to embracing โlivingโ again. The therapy programs include yoga, Pilates, art therapy, reiki, reflexology and massage.

After 42 years of framing our best moments at Hartford HealthCare, photographer Rusty Kimball retired on June 7. He was honored and celebrated by colleagues at the HOCC Auxiliary Golf Tournament and by friends and family on his final day.
With a keen eye and sharp focus, Rusty developed a career that always put colleagues and patients in the best light. His work was marked by resilience and compassion as a Vietnam veteran, heart surgery survivor and devoted parent.

The Barnum Festival Ringmasterโs Ball, a dazzling black-tie affair, was held this past Saturday, at The Waterview in Monroe. This event is a cherished part of the Barnum Festival, this years was a carnival theme.
Dr. Lawrence, the Director of Breast Surgery for The Hospital of Central Connecticut & Midstate Medical Center, has made history as the 74th Ringmaster. She becomes the second woman, the first physician, and the first mother to hold this prestigious title in the Festival's 75-year history.
Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, EVP & Chief Clinical Operating Officer for Hartford HealthCare was also recognized with the P.T. Barnum North Star Award for inspiring young physicians.
