We are so excited to welcome Nhia Yang as ACA's new Business Operations Manager! Mr. Yang has a BA in Speech Communications and 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Accounting. He is an avid consumer of the arts, including music, literature, graphic arts, fine arts, photography, sculpture, dance, etc. and is also a Classical philosopher and science hobbyist. Mr. Yang is very excited to be working in a school environment and has this to say, "Education is a window to understanding oneself and the world. Much like building a stair to overlook a wall, knowledge and understanding are stones laid at one's feet. Each step brings them closer to seeing the greater picture and eventually the horizons beyond."

We are one week away from our Concerts in the Park series beginning!

We look forward to it starting this year on the 4th of July, where we will be having a Laser Light show after the concert. In between the concert and the laser light show which will begin at dark.

OC Parks & Rec will be setting up nets and handing out paddles and pickleballs every Tuesday night starting June 18! All ages and skill levels are welcome.

This is the beauty of ACA: parents who have connected through ACA, then taking things a step further and organizing a project for their children to participate in. These students worked hard on researching and putting together a presentation on a notable person that they found interesting. One student even wrote his own song to play on the piano! Who did they learn about that day? Henry Ford, Pele, Sitting Bull, Satoshi Tajiri, Frank Morris, Babe Ruth and Mozart. Great work, kids (and parents)!

Alliance Charter Academy remembers and honors all those who have served!

Thank you to Oregon City Year Round Farmers Market for donating space, allowing us to share ACA with the community! Mr. Edson and members of the Chamber Choir donated their Saturday to sing for the shoppers and they were amazing! Thank you, Ms. Lindsay, for organizing a wonderful day!

Mr. Holland's 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament was a rousing success! Lots of players, lots of fans, and lots of fun! Congrats to Jaron G., Gavin D., Eli G., and Owen D., the winning team!
