FALL '24 REGISTRATION BEGINS 7.15.24

Registration for the fall 2024 term for all university students will begin at 8 am Mon., July 15 to 11:59 pm Sunday, July 21. Check your CUKC email account for a link on 7.15.24. Holds should be resolved prior to registration. Late registrations subject to a $110 late fee.

Radiologic Technology, Certificate, and Master's seeking students are required to complete term registration, but are already registered in their summer courses.

Bachelor's seeking students must register for their individual courses through the portal following the completion of term registration.

FACILITY NOTICE FOR 7.3.24

Overland Park city officials will be here on Wednesday, July 3 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for an inspection of the Mentorship Clinic space. A test of the fire alarm is a requirement of that inspection, but this is only a test, and there is no requirement for anyone to leave the building at that time.

HOWEVER, please remember that it is tornado and fire season, so if the alarm sounds OUTSIDE of this testing window tomorrow, please respond appropriately by evacuating the building in case of a fire alarm or going to the Chiropractic Health Center on the first floor in case of a tornado.

RESEARCH REVELATION

Here's something shared by CUKC Director of Research Mark Pfefer, RN, MS, D.C., from an article in Medscape Medical News. "...What we know now is that the appendix isn't just a troublesome piece of worthless flesh. Instead, it may act as a safe house for friendly gut bacteria and a training camp for the immune system. It also appears to play a role in several medical conditions, from ulcerative colitis and colorectal cancer to Parkinson's disease and lupus."

6.14.24: NCMIC "Starting Into Practice" Seminar

NCMIC will hold its "Starting into Practice" seminar for students in Tri 8-10 on Friday, June 14 from 8:30a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Dining Hall. Attendance for Tri 8-10 students is mandatory unless approved by clinic administration. Classes before and after this seminar will be held as scheduled. The Dining Hall will be closed to all other students during this event.
