The grooming schedule for this morning is full. Walk-in grooming starts at 2pm. It's cold out there this morning so keep your babies warm. The hawks are out looking for an easy meal, so please keep your feathered babies in a carrier when you approach the store.

Our baby Catalina Macaw is available again. We also have 3 beautiful lorikeets. There are a hybrid between the Rainbow and Coconut (green naped) Lorikeet. They are really pretty.

Kiwi is starting the year out in style. He’s managed to get ahold of a colored block and he’s got blue and green eyeshadow on today. It’s not as dramatic as his Cindy Lauper impression but Kiwi is a work in progress.

Our beautiful baby Catalina Macaw is spoken for. We still have some baby lorikeets. They will be back in the store tomorrow. They are available for deposits.

Someone spammed our page with a ton of spam comments early this morning. They've been banned and it looks like we've managed to find the posts and delete them all. If you get a reply to something you've posted here and they are advertising something, just block them and they will disappear. We try to catch them as soon as we can, but sometimes they do it in the middle of the night.

We have regular Tuesday hours today. 10am - 5pm. We're still running our toy and cage sale - ALL toys and 20% off and all cages are 15% off through Sunday the 31st.

We are open our regular Sunday hours today, but we will be closed tomorrow for Christmas. Limited staff will be on hand for cleaning and feeding. If you need last minute food please call the store during normal business hours and someone will take care of you.

Three baby Rainbow Lorries are here today. They are available for deposits beginning today. They will be here on the weekends for the next few weeks until they are big enough to stay here overnight. Stop by and see these little ones today.

Can you believe that Christmas is just a week away? The year is almost over. We have 2 macaw sized cages open for boarding, 6 medium sized cages for Greys, small cockatoos, and Amazon sized birds, and 2 small bird cages have opened up. There is floor space for 2 smaller bird that can stay in their own cage. If you're bringing your own cage, it must be clean when you arrive, otherwise there is a cage cleaning fee.

Our online store has been expanded with a lot of additional Lafeber's products. You can order online and pick it up later in the afternoon, the next day, or send Uber to get it for you. You can also purchase gift cards for the bird lover in your life.

We're close to switching over to our new boarding software. Please give us your email address when you drop your bird off. Once we add it to the system, you'll get an emailed confirmation when you make a new reservation. We will also send out reminders that your vet check is coming due. Once we fully move to the new system, we'll start doing grooming appointments there as well and you'll get a reminder for those as well.

Speaking of boarding, we have 2 macaw cages open for the week of Christmas. There are 6 medium cages open for birds like African Greys, Amazons, and small cockatoo size birds. There is 1 bottom cage available for small parrots. If you need a cage for travel over the Christmas holiday, call as soon as possible to reserve one.

There is a group of hawks hanging out near the store today. They are hunting pigeons but don’t let them be tempted to go after your bird. Hawks have very little fear of humans so please bring your birds in a cage or carrier.

If your bird is flighted, don’t let it out of the carrier until the groomer is ready to assist you. Birds have far better vision than we do and even though you don’t see the hawk, your bird might and it could take off in fright, potentially injuring itself in the process.

Keep your babies safe while the hawks are on the hunt.

Grooming for tomorrow is filling up. There are some appointments between 1:30 and 3:50PM. We also have some grooming time on Thursday of this week, and Friday is wide open at the moment. Get your feathered baby looking great for the holidays.

Boarding for Christmas is filling up - we have 4 macaw sized cages, 7 medium sized cages for birds like African Greys, amazons and small cockatoos. There is 1 small cage for a conure or like sized bird. We do have a few slots open for birds that stay in their own cage. If you need to board during that Christmas holiday, please call and reserve a cage ASAP. We expect to be completely full.

It's Monday and we're getting closer to the end of the year. We'll be extending Toy Tuesday into December. Keep an eye on our website and here to see what the December sales will be.
