Last week our virtual Toastmasters group Women of Influence Toastmasters Club had a little fun with our theme, ๐ Queen For The Day ๐.
As for that meeting, I was the one who got to pick the theme. In honor of #๐ค๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐น๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐๐, I thought we could have a little fun and invited everyone to where their headpiece of choice.

1๏ธโฃ The financial services industry historically has a reputation much like used car salespeople, (sorry salespeople). The CFPยฎ designation is an attempt to set industry standards based on education, examination, ethics and experience to grow into a respected profession like the medical or accounting professions. There are steps to enforce standards as well.
2๏ธโฃ Although there is some debate, I think the person giving you financial advice should be a fiduciary to reduce, remove or disclose conflicts. CFPยฎ pros commit to act in their clientโs best interests, at all times.
3๏ธโฃ Knowing that your financial professional has already met rigorous standards and also commits to ongoing education ensures they will stay fresh and current in a fast-changing field.
