We are temporarily closed today - Monday April 22nd due to the City of Sterling repairing a water line. We plan to re-open with normal hours tomorrow - Tuesday April 23rd.

Preceding the Resurrection Day (Easter) holiday, we will be closed on Friday March 29th for Holy (Good) Friday.

For patriotic reasons, we will be closed on Monday, February 19th to honor the Presidents' Day holiday.

Sonnenberg Agency, LLC was founded by Maynard Sonnenberg in 1983. He passed away in 2001. Maynard believed that there was a need for a trusted insurance partner & advisor for the hardworking farmers of Northeast Colorado – their agency started by writing crop insurance policies.

If you've tried to access sonnenbergagency.com recently, you've probably noticed that it is currently "down". This is due to IT transfer issues between our domain and website. There is still snow forecasted & most major road ways in/around Sterling are closed. As such, our office will be closed today while crews work to clear the roadways. Our agents can take phone calls remotely.

UPDATE - DEC 22ND @ 6:20am
Because of the extreme temperatures and conditions today (at the time of this post, windchill is 40 BELOW zero) our office will be CLOSED today to ensure the safety of our staff & clients. Our agents are available by phone today.

We will be closed tomorrow (Fri, Dec 23rd) & Mon, Dec 26th for Christmas. We will be open with normal in-person business hours on Tues, Dec 27th.

With the impending (some of the Cold Front has arrived already) cold weather, here's some quick tips to protect your home during the coldest days we've seen in the last 3+decades. Seriously Sonnenberg Agency friends and clients: with wind chill readings likely to hit near NEGATIVE 40 degrees during the next couple of nights & days, this weather is life-threatening!!! This is not a joke or an exaggeration! Please do not go out tonight, tomorrow & tomorrow night, unless it is an ABSOLUTE necessity. With the severity of these negative temperatures, frostbite can occur on human skin in less than 5 minutes.

UPDATE - 12/14/22 - 6:45am
With the current road closures - major roads in Logan County remain closed - and the need for our staff to dig out their homes & vehicles, Sonnenberg Agency will remain closed today. We will reopen with normal hours tomorrow, Thurs, Dec 15th. Our agents are available remotely by phone.
Stay safe today & please respect the road closures - authorities make those decisions to keep people safe!

6:45am Update - 12/13/22
With a “Blizzard Warning” in effect due to the rapidly deteriorating weather conditions and the increasing number of road closures, Sonnenberg Agency will be closed today, Tuesday, Dec 13, 2022. Our agents will be available remotely by phone.
This not a day to go out - if you don’t have to. We encourage you to stay home and stay warm!

At our company Christmas Party on Friday, the winners of our two games were Jacie & Tammy. They won the first two (ever!) gift cards to the Bakery at Steele Terrain! Thank you Amanda, Brandon & crew!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
According to the State of Colorado's Department of Regulatory Agencies - the State's new dialing procedure of 10-digit local calling is now in effect. In order to make local calls, you now have to dial the area code first (our office included). To reach our office, dial 970-522-1681.

AGENCY UPDATE - OFFICE CLOSED
We are closing the office at 10:30am on 01/06/2022 due to a positive COVID-19 Test within the staff and the potential corresponding exposure. Although all in-office agency staff are currently asymptomatic, we are following CDC Guidelines and quarantining through the upcoming weekend to ensure that we do not unintentionally spread the virus.

We will re-open with normal business hours on Monday 01/10/2022.
