Wanderlust Photography lost their santa at the last moment and we just wanted to ensure that we could still offer a local option for the community! Hello everyone!

Today we wanted to talk about something that may be a bit difficult to address but we feel is very important to talk about. We have recently gotten quite a few complaints about our customer service which has been quite concerning to us as the whole reason we even opened our store in the first place was to create a space that welcomed everyone with open arms. We have always aspired to go above and beyond to consistently evolve our business based on customer feedback. One of our main policies is that we will be whatever the community needs us to be. Which is something we have worked so very hard to do. With all of that being said we realize that somewhere along the line we must have messed up and made some of you feel as if we didn't care about you or made you feel that this wasn't a place where you felt welcome and that is 100% not okay. We first and foremost just wanted to say sorry, we are very sorry that we made anyone feel this way. Our shops number one vision has always been to be a place where everyone is welcome to be themselves and to create a space where our community members feel at home. So we just wanted to let you know that we are taking this very seriously and we are taking several steps to make this right.

#1 We are all taking customer service training and will be working together to learn new ways to serve our community.

#2 We would like to ask anyone and everyone to please message Thomas Alexander Herrera with any complaints or issues you have had with us so that we can get to the root of the problems. Please don't feel that you cannot reach out as we need feedback to evolve. If you are not okay with doing that then we will have suggestions box out later this evening on our front counter and you can simply leave an anonymous note.

#3 After we receive the feedback we will be writing new store policies based on the feedback we get to ensure that this never happens again.

#4 The owner will be in the store a lot more in the coming days to ensure that things are going smoothly and that all customers are being treated with kindness and respect.

To end we just ask that if you do have any concerns or issues that you please either message Thomas or drop a note in the suggestions box. We would like the keep everything professional and want to ensure that every concern goes straight to the owner. We also ask for some patience in moving forward as this will be a new adventure for us and we are working very hard to be the best that we can be and sometimes things like this take time. We thank you so very much for all of the continuous support that you have all shown us! While this is a hard conversation to have we appreciate you taking the time to read this and hope to see all of you in the coming days.

A variety of magic got traded in and we got the newest set caverns of Ixalan in for Fridays draft the entry will be $15 and start at 6pm!

We will be closed tomorrow, Saturday the 11th to let our veterans have an extra day off to enjoy.
We will also be changing our store hours starting Monday the 13th we will be closed on Mondays and starting Sunday the 19th we will be open on Sundays

Lassen Pinball league is hosting a tournament here starting at 5:30 pm open to the public with a $5 entry fee and a cash prize for the top three spots! Costume optional but clothes are mandatory!

The consignment we are showcasing this week is Lassen Creations and Kitsune's Treasures!
Both business have been with us for a while now and we are impressed to see how much they’ve grown!

Ashley started Kitsune’s Treasures in 2020 after spending part of the lockdown learning how to sew and slowly exploring resin work. She had always wanted to start a small art business with the goal of being able to vend and attend anime/gaming/comic conventions on the regular. Her small business has grown quite a bit since then and continues to explore and show off new things constantly.

Emma moved to Lassen County in 2019 for her husband John's new job at HDSP. She married her husband John in August 2014.
Together they have 3 darling children between the ages 3-8. In an effort to be a full-time stay-at-home mom AND contribute to the family income, Emma did what many Moms are doing, entrepreneurship! She has always been crafty so when she started Lassen Creations it was an instant hit in the community, Emma was offered spaces in various other businesses in the area, besides ours.

Bunch of cool new items came in! Including a new Dungeons & Dragons dice mystery box!

New Hyperion order came in, including light guns that will work on Flatscreen TVs, PS3 controllers, Wii controllers, switch docks, and a couple more of the retro consoles that have been sold out!

Each week in October we are going to have two of our consigned merch showcased to show our appreciation the the small businesses. This week we have Lhalloway who’s been apart of our store for quite some time now as well as Howling Dog Ranch a new business to our store.

Lholloway ::be creative:: bore the design side in 2005! The owner Leah found most of the popular shower and bath products caused too many irritations, therefore began creating her own in 2008. In 2020, her business was introduced to Lassen County.

Howling dog ranch bought a small ranch in 2017 in Milford, California, a small town in Lassen County. They have a passion for growing our own food. They also love to garden and raise animals. They quickly discovered a love for growing garlic, so they started small and quickly grew in size. Now, after much hard work they have decided they are ready to share our favorite hobby with the community. They have specialized in 4 different varieties and hope to expand in the future. They use no chemicals and grow our Garlic all natural. They are excited to bring you the best Garlic and hope to become the number one local source for Garlic for years to come! This year they started to freeze dry fruits and veggies but the interest of freeze dried candy was out there so they started doing candy as well.
