We had a little staycation with Best Western and wanted to share some hotel hacks we’ve picked up along the way! ✨

3 DAYS IN ITALY 🇮🇹 Itinerary below👇

Day One:

🛎️ Check into to Hotel Paradiso BW Signature Collection By Best Western.

This is a beautiful 4 star is situated on a hill with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

This surprisingly affordable, unique hotel experience comes complete with comfortable rooms, a rooftop terrace restaurant with stunning views, private pool, a beautiful solarium, and has been designed with elegance, style, and individuality. Plus, it’s just a ferry ride away from iconic places like the Amalfi Coast and the magical island of Capri.

🚇 After getting settled at the hotel, head to Toledo Art Station.
This shining multi-colored metro station is a must see. With its stunning mosaics and vibrant LED lighting, it’s not just a subway stop but a visual treat for commuters and visitors alike. It is said to be “Europe’s Most Beautiful Metro Station”.

👨🏻‍🍳 That evening, take part in a traditional Neapolitan Pizza Making Class. We took a class with a local chef and used all fresh ingredients- this was a must…after all, Naples is the birthplace of Pizza!

Day Two:

⛴️ Take a ferry to the Island of Capri.
Enjoy a boat tour around the island to learn about the history and take in the breathtaking views. Afterwards, enjoy the scenic chair lift ride to the very top of the island for the best panoramic views.

🍕 Take the ferry back to Naples and have dinner at Pizzeria Da Michele which was established in 1870. It is Michelin Star award winning and only costs €5.50 per pizza! It’s also where Julia Robert’s iconic pizza scene was filmed in her movie “Eat Pray Love”.

Day Three:

🍋 Take a ferry to Positano.
Dine at Li Galli and savor delicious lemon spaghetti with a view of the iconic coastline. Then wander the shops, grab some local lemon sorbet, and head down to the beach for some swimming and relaxing.

Exploring River North Chicago was made easy by Best Western River North Hotel‘s perfect location. It was walking distance from everything we needed to have a fantastic day. For your next hot girl walk in River North here is your itinerary:

Lake Tahoe Trip! 🏔️

I spent this last weekend exploring Lake Tahoe and here are my recommendations:

1. Stay at Hotel Becket, BW Signature Collection by Best Western. It’s in South Lake in the middle of everything and a great area for families and adults!
2. Visit Emerald Bay and see Vikingsholm Castle and rent kayaks to explore the water 🛶
3. Head to North Shore and go to Kings Beach
4. Visit Sand Harbor beach (my favorite!!) and it’s so perfect for swimming in the coves 🏖️
5. Hike down to Secret Cove and relax in the hidden sun!
6. Drive to Lake Echo (about 20 minutes away) and hike to the upper Lake and take the water taxi back to your car! 🏔️

A four day roadtrip driving 36 hours through seven states from Alabama to Canada (with my dog and cat) may seem intimidating, but Best Western made our trip EASY and enjoyable!

I didn’t have to worry about trying to find pet-friendly hotels, because has over 1200+ pet-friendly locations in North America and I was able to find conveniently located stays all along our route!

The town of Wall, South Dakota might be tiny, but this “window to the west” is a hub for outdoor recreation and fun local attractions.

Here are some of our favorites-

Badlands National Park: At the Pinnacles entrance, only 8 miles from Wall, you’ll find some of the best viewpoints in the park, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see bison hanging around the entrance sign. It’s the gateway to one of the most unique national parks in the country.

Wall Drug: since 1931 America’s favorite roadside attraction has been welcoming visitors with free ice water and five-cent coffee. It’s grown into a 76,000-square-foot shopping destination where you can buy a cowboy hat or a new pair of boots after you’ve finished your legendary hot beef sandwich.

Buffalo Gap National Grasslands: this vast grassland covers over 600,000 acres and offers visitors stunning scenery, biking, horseback riding, and plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Minuteman Missile National Historical Site: a fascinating NPS site just 20 miles away.

When we’re visiting this area, we always stay in Wall at the Plains Motel. With free breakfast and two swimming pools, it’s the perfect home base for all our adventures.

Komodo National Park is one of Indonesia’s, and arguably the world’s, greatest natural treasures. Komodo is a short 1 hour flight from Bali and we highly recommend exploring this beautiful national park via a “liveaboard” boat so you have enough time to sail to multiple islands, lounge on pink beaches, snorkel with Manta Rays, and hike to the top of Padar Island.

🐢 Swim With Sea Turtles

Indonesia’s Gili islands are one of the best places in the world to swim with sea turtles and snorkel through insanely clear water and colorful coral.

🧖‍♀️ Enjoy An Eat, Pray, Love Spa Day

Inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s soul searching odyssey, this spa experience is a must. It was 150 minutes and included a 5 minute aromatherapy foot bath ritual, 60 minute relaxing Balinese message, 60 minute rejuvenating facial, and 25 minute flower bath ritual.

🌅 Watch Sunrise At A Beautiful Temple

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan in North Bali is considered to be one of Bali’s most beautiful temples and being there for sunrise was truly magical.

If you’re heading to the beach at Seaside, Oregon, be sure to pack some hiking boots. There are a lot of trails to explore and public lands to visit nearby.


📍Ecola State Park - adjacent to Seaside’s beach to the south, Ecola has 9 miles of coastline, cliffside viewpoints, and miles of hiking trails, including an 8-mile segment of the Oregon Coast Trail.

📍Hug Point State Recreation Site, where you can find waterfalls and sea caves right on the beach. And at low tide you can walk along the original stagecoach road and see the wheel ruts carved into the rock.

📍South Neahkahnie Mountain Trail – Named by Native Americans, the mountain means “place of supreme deity” because they believed the view was fit for the gods. The hike to the top is 3.4 miles RT with 1,066 feet elevation gain, where you’ll have a jaw-dropping view of the Oregon coast to the south.

📍Lewis and Clark National Historical Park: featuring a replica of Fort Clatsop, where the Lewis and Clark expedition spent the winter of 1805-06. You can also check out the historic canoe landing, hike on one of the nearby trails, and visit other Lewis and Clark sites nearby.

We love to stay at the Plus Ocean View Resort in Seaside, Oregon while we’re exploring the area. Because when we’re ready to take off our hiking boots and put on our flipflops, the ocean is right outside our door.

Celebrating 100 years of Kentucky State Parks. Green River Lake and State Park are the bee’s knees. And Best Western, as a local friend said, “is the best place to stay in Campbellsville.” and I’d agree.

📝 Fishing is no doubt the top activity here. But as an explorer type, we found plenty to entertain us at the park and on the lake. We also ate at Brothers BBQ downtown and gotta say, highly recommend it. This is a gorgeous lake and lots of great swimming spots and areas to camp and hike. Don’t pass up on this beautiful area! 🥾

Kentucky Tourism / Kentucky State Parks

One moment life can be chaotic and the next, you’re at a standstill gazing at the beautiful view! A lot of hustle goes on before these couple getaways, but that’s what makes the vacation even sweeter, right?

We love our family adventures, but there’s something special about just us two adventuring too. Our best travel experiences blend convenience, comfort, and exploring new places. This is our first time exploring Coconut Grove, a charming lush neighborhood in Miami, Florida!

We stayed at the Hotel Arya Coconut Grove, BW Premier Collection. This Best Western gem is a prime location within walking distance of shops and restaurants with wellness amenities and views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami Skyline.

Save this for your next getaway, here’s what we did:

-Autocycle Adventure: cruised Biscayne Bay
-Explore Cocowalk: open-air shopping and dining scene
-Restaurant Hopping: walked to a mix of cuisines spots
-Staying Active: hotel fitness center and square court
-Relaxation: hotel sauna and rooftop pool

We also went to our first Miami music festival. We’ve always enjoyed dancing together ever since we dated 23 years ago. This was the perfect destination for us to unwind, reconnect, and have a fun time together!
