Job Description: Community Coordinator
Job Title: Community Coordinator
Department: Community Programming
Reports To: Head of Projects & People

☑️ Job Overview:
As the Community Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in cultivating and nurturing relationships within our community platform, Circle. You will ensure high engagement levels and foster a vibrant, supportive atmosphere. Your robust empathy skill set, proactive communication abilities, and content creation skills are crucial for making our community feel supported, heard, and valued, ultimately boosting member satisfaction and retention.

☑️ Responsibilities and Duties:
🔵 Community Engagement:
Develop and implement strategies to increase active participation across platforms.
Monitor discussions, ensuring each post is commented on or properly delegated, and respond promptly to inquiries to foster a positive community atmosphere.
Act as the community cheerleader, encouraging and motivating members through active engagement and recognition.

🔵 Content Management:
Curate, schedule, and manage all content on Circle, including educational materials, announcements, and engagement campaigns.
Ensure all content is timely, relevant, and aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives.

🔵 Event Scheduling:
Organize and update weekly community events in Circle, ensuring accurate descriptions, meeting links, hosts, etc.
Manage the community webinar schedule, ensuring it includes correct topics, descriptions, videos, hosts, and the proper setup for events in Circle (gallery view, recording, post-event sharing).

🔵 Feedback and Reporting:
Collect and analyze community feedback on interaction and course progress to gauge sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on community activity, growth metrics, and engagement levels to inform strategic decisions.

🔵 Collaboration and Support:
Provide assistance and direction to community members, encouraging their efforts, and cultivating a consistently positive atmosphere.
Field any payment-related questions to the finance team.
Review offboarding surveys and take necessary actions based on feedback.

🔵 Community Admin:
Write and send workflow messages for new members.
Answer new and existing member questions via Circle messaging and email.
Host monthly open office hours, with additional sessions after Level Up Week (LUW).
Perform additional fill-in tasks as needed to support the community.

☑️ Qualifications:
Proven experience in community management, social media management, or related roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage positively with community members.
Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
Proficiency in using social media platforms and community management software (experience with Circle is preferred).
Ability to analyze data and provide insights based on community interactions.

☑️ Working Conditions and Pay:
Hourly Rate: $22 - $25 depending on experience.
Preferred Time zone: EST.
Initially, this role will require 10-15 hours a week, with the possibility of increasing hours as community demands grow.

☑️ Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Head of Projects & People but will also work closely alongside our Community Facilitator and Coach to ensure a cohesive community strategy and ex*****on.

☑️ Performance Goals:
Increase community engagement by a specific percentage within the first six months (to be determined based on baseline measurements).
Maintain a member satisfaction rate of a specific percentage or higher (to be determined).
