October is a month of appreciation at Hedges & Yauch, L.L.C. We are blessed with an extremely experienced staff with a combined total of one hundred four years in the legal profession. Employee turnover is very low as we just celebrated Carma Butler’s twenty-third year here, and today marks Joel Butch’s seventh year.

Beth Yauch was licensed and began practicing law in Trenton, Ohio, in 1988, but began her legal career in 1980 at this very office as an assistant to her mentor, and later partner, John C. “Jack” Hedges, Jr.

As we did not win the Powerball, our team remains ready to assist you with your legal needs, especially a double-blind trust should you win the lottery!!!

Sadly, today the legal community will say its final farewell to Patrick Arthur Binns. Ironically, on this day, 42 years ago I began my legal career working for John C. “Jack” Hedges and Patrick A. Binns. Jack left this world 29 years ago, and tomorrow, September 9, would have been his birthday.

These two men were instrumental in pointing me toward a now 34-year career as an attorney, and I am very thankful to both. Rest in peace, Pat, and happy birthday to my partner, Jack.

Due to the recent power outage in Trenton, our office will be closing until power is restored. We do have an answering service should you need to reach us. Stay safe and we apologize for any inconvenience.

I have such a great staff. I would be remiss to not give thanks to our team. Since I left town on their day, they can each have an extra day off while I hold the fort down. Julie Myers and I thank you, Carma Butler and Joel Butch!

We are extremely pleased to announce Julie A. Myers has joined our team as an Associate Attorney. Julie received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. She was admitted to the bar in December 2020. Julie and her husband, Dalton, are lifelong residents of Butler County. We look forward to this wonderful addition to our office to help in serving your legal needs.
