PAALALA SA MGA DUMADALO NG MISA

Ang Ostiya na tinatanggap natin sa Banal na Misa ay hindi basta bastang chips o tinapay o kutkutin na pantawid gutom sa loob ng Misa.

Ang Ostiya na tinatanggap natin sa Misa ay ang Katawan ni Kristo.
Kapag sinabi kong katawan ni Kristo, ang ibig kong sabihin ay LITERAL na Katawan ni Kristo at hindi simbolo lamang.

Ang alak at tinapay sa Misa matapos i-consecrate ay nagiging tunay na Katawan at Dugo ni Kristo at ang tawag dito ay TRANSUBSTANTIATION. Ang pagbabago ng anyo ay hindi nakikita physically, kundi nakikita ito substantially.

Kaya kung kayo ay tatanggap ng Communion, siguraduhing walang matitirang maliliit na mumo sa inyong kamay dahil kahit na ang maliliit na piraso ng Ostiya ay kinikilala natin bilang BUONG KRISTO.

Kung may natira sa inyong kamay, mabuting huwag ninyo itong ipagpag, bagkus dilaan ninyo ang inyong palad. Ang gawaing ito ay nagpapakita ng matinding pagsamba at paggalang sa Diyos sa Kabanalbanalang Sakramento

BIBLE CAMP NEWS - We want to thank the many people who assisted with Bible Camp this year, making the experience awe-some. Thank you, Father Michael, for opening the doors for both parishes to come together for the experience and for your Pastoral support.

We are so grateful to the following:

Snack Helpers: Thank you -Stella Geneisi, Filomena Long, Tanya Hoffer, Marie Kissel, Jenny Maloney and Michelle Stetter along with John Genesi who opened the Cfor the coffee shop each evening.

Teen Helpers: Calliope Ingham, Olivia Jones, and Gavin Brasher

Teacher Helpers: Lauren Wright, Michelle Whitsel and Ashley Bonsell, and Everyone who donated snacks and drinks.

We had a wonderful combination of St. Joseph and St. Matthew Parishioners.
Marlene Halbedl - We also want to extend our gratitude to Marlene for facilitating the Adult class for parents having children at Bible Camp along with parishioners from both parishes.

It’s been a fun week of Vacation Bible School!🙌🏼

A priest is a father too because he is an Apostle of life. As we remember and thank God for the father's of all of us, do not forget your priests. They are your fathers; fathers of the soul, fathers of your spiritual life. Pray for us so that we may be Jesus for all of you. Pray for us so that we may be the images of our father God for all of you.

SECOND GRADE FIRST COMMUNICANTS - Bishop Mark would like to have all of the First Communicants participate in the Eucharistic Pilgrimage Procession which begins Sunday evening, June 9, at the 7:00 p.m. Outdoor Mass at the Basilica in Loretto.

First Communicants should wear their First Communion clothes and should be seated with their families until summoned by Sr. Linda to join in the procession. Please consider doing this once in a lifetime Eucharistic Pilgrimage and open the door for the children to experience it.
