Do I have any friends in the Norwalk Ohio area?

Rough weekend… Was pretty excited about running the new STU car at my home track (WGI) It was proving to be quick right out of the box but it all went sideways at turn 11 near the end of practice 1. In an effort to deal with the weight of this car on such a small tire I tried something that just didn’t work. Turn 11 is the last corner onto the pit stretch and super important for putting together a fast lap. Mid corner the LR tire blew and instantly spun the car and backward into the outside wall I went. It’s safer barrier there but that stuff is still really hard! I was knocked out from the unpack and woke up in the medical center and then transported to the nearest level one trams center in PA. Things started coming back to me on the way there so the prognosis was good. Thankfully tests were in my favor and doesn’t seem like any major or lasting problems. Home now and really sore. Ribs and neck are the worst part. The car not so much. The BMW is a super sturdy car and took the impact well. It’s pretty bad but I think fixable. Thanks to all the safety workers at WGI, everyone who checked in and wished me well and to the safety equipment from OMP, Racetech, Stilo, and Sabelt for doing g the job.

In a bit of a jam... supposed to be racing at WGI this weekend and our tow vehicle repair has been delayed. Need to get our 30' stacker trailer to the track Thursday afternoon and returning Sunday night. Looking to barrow/rent something capable of getting it there. towed it with a 3500 Dodge dually a week and a half ago so that would be the minimum.

Getting ready for race two at Pittrace. Car ran well in Q2 this morning and hopefully will get a good result. Dinah is having an issue with her motor that we can’t fix at the track and will have to manage it through the race. I’ll post results asap.

At Pittrace and having a fuel pressure issue. Looking for a fuel pump and regulator for a 2002 M3. Anyone in the area?

In a bit of a jam. looking for some M10x1.5 hardware. Either 100mm long bolts or a section of threaded rod.

Z4 made it out of the shop today. Still have some bugs to work out before Pitt this weekend but excited to finally drive it!

Who do I know that can buy for me on IAA or Copart?

Race day at Road Atlanta. Had some issues with me and the car and will be starting the Iron Smoke Distillery Camaro from the back. The CB Motorsports crew are giving it their all and we know how to fix the problem So hopefully we can stay clean and work towards the front.

Not the start we were looking for. Broke an aclean shortly into FP1. CB boys are on it now hopefully back for FP2 this afternoon.

Racing in TA2 this coming weekend at Road Atlanta. After the race Dinah and I want to take some time to visit her mother in Hiltonhead SC. Trying to find somewhere close or on the way from RA to HH to park the bus and trailer. It almost 80 ft. long so can’t just park anywhere and would love to be able to plug in while we are away. Thanks.
