Today, the 7th of February 1989, marked a proud milestone as a young man named Thomas George Nell was admitted as an attorney. Now, 35 years later, as a somewhat more seasoned individual, I can only reflect on what an extraordinary journey it has been, what a privilege... I am truly grateful to my family, friends, and colleagues for their unwavering support and invaluable contributions...🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

I am thrilled to announce that I have been granted my renewed "Senior Business Rescue Practitioner" license today! After 12 years serving in this dynamic field, my enthusiasm and commitment remains stronger than ever, and I am ready to take on new challenges!

I extend heartfelt gratitude to the CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) for the issuance of my license, as well as to all my esteemed colleagues for their unwavering support and commitment. Together, we have navigated through complex rescues, corporate restructurings, and insolvency proceedings, all with the singular aim to protect businesses and their stakeholders. I salute you all for your dedication and perseverance.

As a Senior Business Rescue Practitioner, I remain committed to providing timely, efficient, and sustainable business solutions. I believe that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth and innovation, and I am excited to continue to make a positive impact on businesses in the years to come.

As a licenced Senior Business Rescue Practitioner, Turnaround and Restructuring Professional and Commercial Attorney (32 years), George Nell has taken appointments in more than 100 Business Rescue projects. George practices as a Business Rescue Practitioner and Turnaround and Restructuring specialist. George holds a Masters Degree in Commercial law (UP) and has accumulated expert experience across a broad range of industries and sectors including mining, franchising, transport, aviation, construction, retail, hospitality, financial, hospital and others. He also has experience in international trade, transnational trade law and insolvency, asset collection and recoveries and multi creditor workouts. George is participating with academic research on invitation of the top academics in South Africa and internationally, and his article on the SAA business rescue was published in a international journal.

George is a Businessman in his own right and has acted as CEO of several highly successful private business enterprises.

George is often approached to act as guest speaker, appear in leading financial television programs and consult and give his specialized opinion and advice regarding Business Rescue matters and other specialized legal fields. He also is the co-owner of a YouTube channel "The Business Rescue Boardroom" which focus on the real questions posed in the Boardrooms of real companies.

He is committed to BBBEE and through his Business Rescue and restructuring endeavours more than 5000 jobs have been saved.
