Our GHIBLI themed workshop also caused quite a stir the past 2 years & we are also proud to be noticed for our creativity by .jp 🏮 This theme has become our most loved & a staple that will be returning next year inshallah!

Let’s talk CROISSANTS 🥐 Irresistible & to almost everyone it’s the perfect pastry, in all its versatile shapes & flavours 🤤 Since launching our studio we always loved pushing the boundaries between tableware & decor, and maybe became a little obsessed with creating realistic ceramic versions of this food masterpiece! 😅 Join us at ‘The Breakfast Club’ & with our guidance you can whip up your favourite flavour as a unique decorative piece for your coffee table or kitchen! 👩🏽‍🍳 Available dates for the workshop are on our stories! 🤎

A very grateful thank you for embracing the vision of ‘The Breakfast Club’ & joining us for a specially curated breakfast on custom ceramics crafted with love 🎀 This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our communities support & appreciation for our events 🫶🏽 Your enthusiasm & positive energy made the past 3 months of planning and designing truly worthwhile 🖤 The workshop concept is for our guests to join us at 10.30 am for a 3-hour workshop that starts with a curated breakfast (with fresh crêpes!) & afterwards creating one pottery piece with our guidance that can carry their favourite breakfast at home 🥐 All the fun ceramics featured at ‘TBC’ were designed alongside the menu🍴As this workshop concept has come to an end for January, we will be extending it to February with a special VALENTINES EDITION 🌹 We are currently accepting pre-bookings DM us your contact so we can share available dates & assist you further ❤️

The unique art of
KURINUKI & NERIKOMI

KURINUKI is a Japanese carving technique which means ‘TO HOLLOW OUT’ as it involves carving a one-of-a-kind piece of art from a block of clay. It’s a very slow and meditative process that is very enjoyable & also cannot be replicated or repeated.

NERIKOMI is a marbling technique also starting in Japan, the word itself means ‘TO PRESS INTO’, where you intricately or randomly layer different colours or clay, stacking and cutting them to form different patterns. The final results create eye catching patterns and a beautiful combination of colours in harmony.

We previously combined both techniques into one fun workshop where you can create a KURINUKI cup and use the leftover clay to create 2 small dessert plates using the NERIKOMI technique! We look forward to hosting this workshop again for you all next year inshallah 🤎

Our ‘Ghibli’ Themed Pottery Workshop 🏮 As we say goodbye to our lanterns & this beautiful theme for now, we want to thank all our amazing fans for their undying love towards our Ghibli workshop! 🖤 This is the first time we extended a theme for 2 months as we didn’t expect the amount of devoted anime fans to treasure this magical theme! The amount of creativity we witnessed during these 2 months have truly amazed us all at Studio CLAY! 🥹 All our workshops are now fully booked! 🫶🏽 We can’t wait to announce the competition winners mid October once everyone’s masterpieces are out of the kilns! ✨
