The success story you should read and share. ❤️

This is Othman and this is my transformation story from struggling with my weight which led to a low self-esteem as result of many injuries suffered and a horrible car crash that almost left me paralyzed, to become a confident Lesmills advanced instructor.

Being active wasn’t an issue as I was part of many sport teams in my school; football, volleyball, handball, and the athletic (running, jumping and throwing). As I am a challenge driven, I always pushed myself too far to the point I was suffering many injuries from young age! I had broken fingers, arm and feet, issues with ankles and knees, and a dislocated shoulder. So, I was always on medication and pain killers.

More than 13 years ago, I stepped in my first RPM class and it was great experience, so I joined for body pump too. I was hooked since then although Lesmills programs wasn’t so much popular in Abu Dhabi. Then I heard about ADCC and the variety of classes they offered. Without hesitation I became a member in 2008 and joined most of the classes. Rpm, BP, BC, BA and Yoga! Later CXWORX, sprint and grit too!

In 2017, after years of delays I finally decided to become a Lesmills RPM instructor, and then took AIM too. I also got certified in Sprint and grit! then I decided to upscale myself and become advanced in all. I attended IMT for pump in 2018 but unfortunately, I couldn’t complete it as I suffered from a car crash and many injuries. So I had to undergo few surgeries. last one was in early 2019!

The turning point was the car crash when my surgeon told me that I was lucky to be walking! It was a horrible and terrifying experience but also an eye-opening that shifted my prospective to embrace life more. So, I became more self-aware and started listening carefully to my body. I still push it hard, but I know to what limit. I nourished it. I made sure I had enough rest to recover. As a result, I lost much of the weight but gained life.

Hi everyone! My name is Roula. I am a Group Fitness Instructor. I have a total experience of 12 years in the fitness journey. I am certified to teach Lesmills programs BodyCombat and GRIT as well as Zumba programs (Toning, Step, Aqua & Kids). My education is in Psychology & Social work. I hold a diploma in Exercise & Sports Nutrition. My passion is to help people change their lives in the simplest and realistic way possible. I believe everyone deserves the right to good health & to be happy with themselves inside & out. I worked in different gyms in Abu Dhabi and I have participated in different events in town especially for special needs. Highlights of my journey I am honored to mention I was part of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi program as a fitness trainer to caregivers for 3 years. Worked for Abu Dhabi police for 3 years too as a Life Coach & Fitness trainer. I enjoy reading, swimming & Afrobeats & Music.
