Play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and young people. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills they need for study, work and relationships such as: confidence.

Practice problem solving, estimation, measurement and other math skills by making ice cream! Cooking activities are great for teaching kids how to use measurement tools, giving them a chance to apply math skills like counting, adding, multiplying, etc.

An ice cream theme is about much more than a sugary treat. Children learn what ice cream is made of and how a few simple ingredients can morph into a delicious dessert. They have opportunities to problem solve, measure, and other math and science skills. Plus, an ice cream preschool theme is very engaging for children so it’s a great way to make other subjects come to life.
