Art has always been an important part of my life, and I've gone through various stages in my artistic journey. I started with still life and realistic portraits, then moved on to expressive faces. Eventually, I started creating characters with innocent features, and they are stepping away from conventional beauty standards.
In my paintings, these characters are living in their own world, telling stories that reflect our own experiences and memories. I explore the blurred line between dreams and reality, drawing inspiration from human emotions and psychological states. My aim is to make a balance between knowledge and creativity.
When I begin a painting, I let my unconscious guide me as I place colours on the canvas. From there, I develop the subject and carefully draw the characters.

In "Tears of Blossom," the artist portrays the profound journey of women, akin to the delicate unfolding of flower petals shaped by tears. Through a masterful interplay of light and shadow, the artwork evokes the resilience and grace inherent in the female experience. Each petal represents a moment of struggle, yet it also serves as a testament to the strength and beauty that emerges from adversity. "Tears of Blossom" invites viewers to contemplate the intricate tapestry of emotions and experiences that shape the lives of women, ultimately celebrating their resilience and growth.

Hawa-Jane Bangura
is a visual artist who lives and works in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She studied art in the UK and USA.
Much of her work explores African history, culture, and identity and the representation of African women within that context. Like many other African women artists, she believes that we have to tell our stories ourselves, we have to create and preserve our own images and narratives. Having grown up with strong female role models and also being cognizant of the important role of African women in respect to the history of humanity, her work attempts to reflect this viewpoint. She sees art as an opportunity to start conversations with viewers, to transfer knowledge, to raise consciousness, and to create change.

Dinal Jalil is a graduate of a fashion school. Perhaps this is why her expression remains unique and combined with a strong sense of design. I used black ink to create a geometric technique on paper and embellished the intricate designs with gold leaf.
“My art has always been geometric,” Dinal says, this mixture of lines and spaces that she found in reality. These subtle and complex shapes could be related to the flower, the species of mushroom, or the subtle and intricate details I see on seashells. Perhaps it was the peace that inspired me to create something that was also unusually calm.
Under the brand “The Sultan Adham”, top-selling artist Adham AbdelMoneim’s paintings are mapping minds on canvas, giving fanatics across the Middle East a rare opportunity to own art that truly captures their thoughts, emotions, and long-buried memories.
With its novelty — the state of being experimental and rather new to the Middle East — mind-map art is increasingly finding itself on the walls of art enthusiasts and collectors’ homes, adding an interesting, new dimension to existing collections. The brainchild of Adham AbdelMoneim, mind-map painting draws upon his creative inheritance from his iconic Egyptian artists/actors/performers, grandparents Hassan Mostafa and Mimi Gamal.
“Art is an enchanting world,” says Adham. “My inspiration comes from the beautiful colours that God created in the art of life and how our minds, souls, and thoughts respond to this; how our moods and emotions trigger our day-to-day life. I aim to achieve that through my art — how a mix of different colours, shapes, and strokes can be a map of someone’s mind. What you’ll see in my artwork is a mind-map that gives you a brief example of confidence, experiences, love, hate, character, and much more.”
Semaan Khawam [a.k.a. “birdman”] is a Syrian-Lebanese artist based in Beirut. His work encompasses both painting and sculpture, in addition to graffiti and poetry, that addresses contemporary issues such as migration and identity. Imagery and figuration of birds is prevalent in his work, in reference to his alter ego, and hence his nickname, as birds tend to possess freedoms in movement that human beings do not.
Semaan’s work has been exhibited in Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, Berlin, France, Italy, New York, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UK, in over 30 collective exhibitions. He has also had numerous successful solo shows. Semaan appreciates collaborations with other artists; one of his many endeavours is the Sleeping with the Enemy productions, which is an artists' collective project.

What is said about the artist, Norrem Hamdi is that he is an adventurer to the point of intoxication.
Contemporary plastic spaces in which there is innovation and bold intrusion into the worlds of color to the extent that they represent the pictorial and graphic body in the artistic product, so that the creative work appears to be filled with multiple aesthetic values.

Artist:
Rima salamoun
150 × 150 cm.
Acrylic on canvas.
2023.
Salmon's paintings take you on a journey with yourself. Sometimes, reflecting the features of her characters and their facial expressions, and sometimes covering most of them with surreal scribbles, her viewer is prompted to unravel her mysteries, just as the owner of the paintings desires. The spectator's interpretations may notice safety, passion, sacrifice, absurdity, and all the ideas that may tickle his imagination, as they open wide doors for him to see through them spaces of dualities fused at times, and combined at other times in more than two characters.

The idea behind the project is to reflect our reality at society.
It embodies the psychological states of fear, anxi- ety, and aimlessness we are experiencing as a result of war-imposed crises and challenges beyond our capabilities, forcing us to gradually go into hiding.
These works of art portray a group of characters, each with its own states and expressions, narrating their personal story.
We see anxiety in the eyes of those who hide behind strict social beliefs that shut out any new ideas. im mersed in a gloomy outlook towards the unknown future.
We see stone heads that conceal those who have chosen to remain in their own illusory perfect world, trapped in a shell of inauthenticity out of fear
of seeing the truth, causing their ideas and emo- tions to solidify.

In the collection of paintings for the upcoming ‘Identity Traces’ show, a certain sense of poetry emerges. One painting, depicting İstanbul’s iconic Bosphorus strait splitting the canvas in two, allows the European and Asian sides to transform into two faces. One face appears to whisper to the other. Within the textures of the faces are facets representing buildings, and, indeed, the Galata Tower appears amongst them. Thus, one recognizes İstanbul from both its urbanscape and its seascape.

"Our dark reality, our heavy shadows, and the shades of my plants that I love.
I search in this darkness, touch it, try to understand it, highlight it, color it, put my heroes in it, and tell my story.
To be my sanctuary, my world with which I return to my colorful memory.
With every painting I make, I record a trace of salvation
Those are my colored shadows.”
Diversity of tools and experiences is one of the essential things in art.
There are always new methods and different ways of expression.
Fahd Salem highlights that in the face of life's challenges and the dark periods we face, there is always a way out of the darkness into the light, as evidenced by the transformation of shame from something evil into strength and confidence. And overcome painful events and turn them into something bright and joyful.
What is said about the artist, Essam Hamdi, is that he is an adventurer to the point of intoxication.

“I depict what the human self is exposed to in general from the mixtures of feelings and thought, for I see that we are all human beings connected in a specific sensory way, linked to pain, linked to joys, and psychological interiors in general.”art.ouh

Abdulsalam Abiola is a contemporary Nigerian artist. Born in 1996, he studied Fine Arts and Applied Arts at Tai Solarin University in Ogun State,
Nigeria. He has been practicing art professionally since 2017.
His paintings are an expression of figures using geometric shapes to carry out the reality of activities and the irony of life in our day-to-day lives. He is a colourist;
he plays around with vibrant colours and brings out the originality of everyday objects around us.
Mazen Khaddaj has consolidated his identity as a German citizen and a Lebanese national. His choice of color and shapes explore different subject matters in a playful, and in fact free, way. Working in abstraction gives him free reign to symbolically select those colors and shapes, expressing, and also exploring, his emotions. The pieces bring delight to the viewer, as one clearly understands that one is in the presence of a celebration.
