Surah Al A’raf V.180

Surah Al A’raf V.128

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ وسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيم.

The Prophet (SAW) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, and are loved by the Most Merciful One is: "Glorified is Allah and praised is He, Glorified is Allah the Most Great".
Al-Bukhari 7/168, Muslim 4/2072.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Our Lord, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Who will call upon Me, that I may answer him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?”
[Sahih Bukhari]

Imagine on the Day of Judgment, you're standing there with all your good deeds, all the prayers, all the charity, all the Dhikr and all the good you did in this world and right infront of you the deeds disappear. Why?? Because you felt the need to backbite your brothers and sisters in Islam. Wallahi Gheeba(Backbiting) is such a grave sin and we all take it so lightly. It's easy to spout bad words behind someone's back because you don't see the direct consequences. However in the Quran it's been compared to eating the flesh of your dead brother.

‎Rasul Allah ﷺ said:

‎“Soon, if you live long, you will see a people who have something in their hands like the tail of an ox (whips). They go out in the morning under the anger of Allah & they return in the evening under the wrath of Allah.” Muslim 2857

Opportunity for Ṣadaqah during the last ten nights

Sūrah al-Māʾidah, Āyah: 2, Allāh says:

وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ

Help one another in al-Birr and al-Taqwā (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression.

Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: Rasūlullāh (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (Ḥalāl) earnings – for Allāh does not accept anything but that which is good – Allāh will take it in His right Hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”

Recorded in: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Book of Obligatory Charity Zakāt, Section: Ṣadaqah must be from money earned honestly, Ḥadīth: 1410, Page: 286, Volume: 2

‎Ibn Taymiyah رحمه الله said:

‎"The realities of Faith will not enter a heart which is soiled with arrogance and rancourous envy"

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
"Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
(Aal-i-Imraan: Verse 8)

‎Rasul Allah ﷺ said, "When leaving the house pray 2 units of prayer as it will be a reason to be protected from evil outside and when entering the house pray 2 units of prayer as it will be a reason to be protected from evil inside."
‎(Saheeh al-Jaami' (86) al-Saheehah (1323))
