The students of the Professional Cookery course had the opportunity to learn the art of cold appetizers, with a special focus on making sushi. Sushi is a popular Japanese delicacy that requires skill and precision to create. Under the guidance of their instructors, the students mastered various sushi techniques and created a variety of delicious Japanese delicacies.
One of the highlights of their learning experience was mastering the art of making the Japanese omelet, also known as Tamagoyaki. This sweet and savoury rolled omelet requires careful cooking and rolling to achieve its distinctive texture and flavor.
In addition to the Japanese omelet, the students learned how to make sushi maki, California roll, nigiri, and shrimp tempura.

The class began with an introduction to the history and ingredients of each salad, emphasizing the importance of balancing flavours, textures, and presentation.
