Celebrating Excellence at the UAE CBSE Cluster Judo Championship - Boys - 2024!

Hosted by GEMS New Millennium School, Al Khail, with 19 schools and 189 judokas in attendance. Our NMS warriors, 20 Millennials, showcased their grit and skill across multiple categories, bringing home a total of 7 selections for Nationals!

NMS shines as host of the Cluster's vibrant Arabic Islamic Enrichment Day, uniting 100 teachers from 5 schools in engaging sessions guided by esteemed leaders in Arabic and Islamic education.

We are so thrilled to showcase the inspirational achievements of GEMS Education students at the 7th 2024, hosted this weekend at GEMS Modern Academy,Dubai.

Representing eight GEMS Clusters and 44 GEMS schools in the UAE and Qatar, our winning students showcased exceptional creativity, securing substantial seed funding prizes across various categories.

The latest edition of an event that has become an annual highlight in the GEMS calendar, was a nine-month innovation marathon, engaging 350 teams and 1,100 brilliant young minds.

From ideation to ex*****on, students embarked on a rigorous journey, culminating in a grand exhibition last November. The Gold teams progressed to a final online round, refining their projects with industry mentorship, and presented them to an expert panel of judges.

This year, the finalist teams and individuals presented game-changing projects, tackling global issues such as food security, health, gender equality, clean energy, and education.

Nargish Khambatta, Senior Vice President – Education of GEMS and the Principal/CEO of GEMS Modern Academy, summed up: "The journey of the GEMS Global Innovation Challenge epitomises the essence of education’s aspirations – nurturing creativity, resilience, and a fervour for problem-solving.

“Over the past nine months, our students have translated ideas into impactful solutions, embodying the spirit of innovation that defines us. As we celebrate their achievements today, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering an environment that encourages ingenuity and equips our students to be the architects of tomorrow’s changes.”

Jordan Bray, VP of Plug and Play Tech Center, announced key mentorship opportunities for the top three teams, helping them bring their products to market. It was also inspiring to have GEMS alumnus Quddus Pativada, founder and CEO of AI start-up ASI, share his entrepreneurial journey and vision for addressing educational disparities through digital learning.

The success of our students underscores GEMS Education’s commitment to fostering innovation, critical thinking, and global citizenship. These young innovators have not only brought honour to their schools but have also brought fresh thinking to solve some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Excelling in Sustainability_ proud to rank among the top three in the GCC Green School Ranking 2024!

Green Mentors proudly unveiled the GCC National Green School Ranking 2024 on World Environment Day. Our school's leadership, climate-conscious teachers, and dedicated climate champions earned an outstanding 95 points out of 100, securing the 3rd rank.

This remarkable achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to reducing the environmental impact of teaching and learning practices.

NMS excelled in ten critical areas of sustainability, including Greening Curriculum, Greening Teaching, Greening Sports, Green Facilities, Green Transport, Campus Biodiversity, Energy Use and Saving Practices, Water-Saving and Harvesting Practices, Waste Recycling Practices, and Green School Supplies.

Our school has been recommended to UNESCO as a case study in sustainable education. Additionally, our exemplary practices will also be shared at the ministerial meeting on education during the G20 Summit in Brazil and the Summit of the Future at the United Nations.

This coincides with the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, offering a unique opportunity to promote the greening of education worldwide.

Grade 10 students at Earth's Lifeline celebrated World Environment Day by showcasing their artistic talents, crafting stunning portraits using dried leaves, and flowers sourced from our Zen Garden.
Their eco-conscious creations not only beautified the surroundings but also echoed the message of environmental sustainability. In addition to their leafy masterpieces, they embraced rock art and handcrafted paper holders, aligning with this year's theme of nurturing a greener future.
