Beatrice Ruggeri, “Bice”, was born in a tiny
country side village on January 1901.
Her parents were humble farmers, she was the eldest
of ten brothers.
She moved to Milan, investing all of her incomes into
her “Osteria”, which, shortly became the most loved
place in the city.
In 2009, the passion for genuine Italian food flew all the
way to Dubai, in a very special corner of the city, along
with the expertise of Chef Oliver and BiCE Mare Dubai
team.

Our Story
Italian Restaurant Dubai - Enjoy an exquisite dining experience at Award Winning BICE Mare, Italian seafood restaurant with a terrace overlooking the iconic Burj Khalifa & magnificent fountain show & an award winning Pianist singing all your favorite tunes & creating a most enjoyable evening!
Opened in November 2009 in the prestigious Souk Al Bahar district, BiCE Mare is a specialist Italian seafood restaurant serving up exciting signature dishes. The kitchen team, led by Chef Francesco Guarracino, is made up of 11 Italian chefs from the Federezione Italiano Cuochi – an organization representing the World Association of Chef Societies in Italy - BiCE Mare now has an all Italian team who bring their own regional cooking methods, style and expertise to the kitchen.
BiCE Mare boasts specialty dishes from around Italy using the best ingredients available, which include the infamous Paccheri pasta, which is a type of pasta di Grangnano that is dried for 72 hours under the ‘Versuvio’ volcano.
