: Dubai's New for Expats Announced!
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, on Wednesday, launched a savings fund for expats working in the public sector. The fund will be optional for private sector firms.

The project will be implemented in stages. Multiple investment schemes will be offered to employees, including Sharia-compliant ones. Employees who do not wish to invest their benefits will also be provided with options that ensure capital protection.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about the COVID-19 change of rules in the regarding masks, travel, quarantine, and PCR testing protocols, announced by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), effective 26th February 2022.

❇️Mask Rules:
📍Wearing masks in outdoor areas will be optional but will remain mandatory in public indoor spaces.

❇️Quarantine protocols for infected and COVID-19 contacts
📍Quarantine is no longer required for close contacts, but they should take a PCR test daily for five consecutive days. In Dubai, close contacts of positive cases who are not experiencing any symptoms do not have to quarantine, and no PCR testing is required.

❇️Entering Abu Dhabi from other Emirates
📍Removal of EDE scanners and requirements for a green pass to enter Abu Dhabi emirate from within the UAE. However, the green pass system will still be needed to gain access to public places in the emirate.

❇️International Travellers to the UAE
📍Those coming to the UAE from international destinations will need to present an approved QR code and vaccination certificate.
Travelers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will need to present a valid negative PCR test result received within 48 hours or a QR code-accompanied certificate proving that they have just recovered from the virus if they were previously infected, which will be valid if obtained within one month before the date of travel.
