Hello Dubai

This October 15-25th on the Yoga Yacht we are happy to announce Betty Kah. To sum up Betty in a few words is rather impossible task. Experience, knowledge and living in the truth would be three fitting words. Betty has embodied the yoga practice for over 40 years. It is this life lived, time spent on the mat and beyond, that brings a quality and insight like non other into this vast system of yoga.

Originally trained as a fitness and Pilates instructor she finally decided to teach in the 90s. Completing 4 different yoga teacher trainings and many intensives and workshops. She was fortunate to study with and learn from the great Yogis of our time.(B.K.S Iyengar, K.Pathabi Jois, T.K.V.Desikachar and A.G.Mohan.)

Her style of teaching could be described as Fusion Yoga. It combines Pilates Ashtanga, Hatha, Kriya, Pranayam and Yoga Philosophy. She travels yearly to India to deepen her spiritual and yogic lifestyle.

Betty produced 4 yoga Nidra C.D.”s and one version for children.

She has been on the yogic path for 40 years and her emphasis is in moving through strong asana to the quiet still point within!

With her husband Swami Pujan who is an Advaita Vedanta meditation teacher she travels the world to embody the essence of yoga.

It is always a special occasion to learn and practice with such a truly experienced yogi. Make sure to grab your spot on the yacht.

Good morning my dear yoga friends and a big welcome for those who join the community recently. I am so happy that the group is still active, thanks to Captain Chris Newton, yoga teacher Joanne, chef Melody Hidalgo and talented photographer YK Jung, for sharing all the lovely yoga moments and delicious food.

Today I would like to present another great yoga soul, Sharqi, a beautiful girl from Czech Republic, who used to seat among you and practice yoga humbly at the beginning, ends up being a 500YYT yoga instructor after four years' of flying.

"Flying around the world gives me wings and the feeling of freedom, however with yoga I feel rooted and grounded, wherever I am", says Sharqi.
