Our lovely DIVERSE graduate is returning to Cats the musical for a 2nd time playing the role of Demeter .

Alice has most recently just finished a contract playing ensemble in the musical production of The Bodyguard. Alice’s other theatre credits include Fame the musical as dance captain, cover Iris 🩰 Prior to this she was in Cats the musical as Swing playing multiple roles - Bombalurina/Demeter/Tantomile/Jennyanydots to name but a few.

graduated from Diverse and gained her BA honours degree in Musical Theatre it’s been exciting to follow her journey in musical theatre.

When Sophie joined us in 2022 she very quickly became a valued member of the Diverse team. We have watched her blossom into a beautiful and versatile dancer and her rapid progress is testament to her hard work, dedication and passion for dance. We are delighted to have been able to guide and support Sophie in her training and applications, this September she will begin her full-time ballet training at The Polish National Ballet School. Ballet dancers with the potential for a professional career begin their vocational training at a much younger age than commercial or musical theatre performers and so, whilst we are sad to say goodbye this is an important step for Sophie’s career and a truly fantastic achievement to have reached the incredibly high standard required to be accepted.

Sophie is so eager to learn, giving 110% in all of her classes and could always be found sneaking into an empty studio to practice her turns or improvise a new contemporary routine alongside being sure to have worked on her corrections before the next class or rehearsal. She pushes herself to try new styles and so she has become a well-rounded dancer that applies her technical knowledge in every genre be it ballet, contemporary or jazz funk. Sophie excelled as part of our competition team and in the 2024 GDO finals placed 3rd in the world for both her classical and neo classical solos.

She has an infectious smile and giggle that will be greatly missed at Diverse and we will always keep a space at the barre for her when she comes to visit!

En quickly became a much loved member of our Diverse family, growing from a shy and quiet member of class to the quirky, cheerful girl we are all going to miss! En has progressed so much over the last 3 years; not only in terms of her technical ability but also in her confidence, performance style and theatrical knowledge. As a result of her training and her own hard work at home, she has been accepted for full time training at the Legat Dance Academy in the UK. Ballet dancers with the potential for a professional career begin their vocational training at a much younger age than commercial or musical theatre performers and so, whilst we are sad to say goodbye this is an important step for En’s career and a truly fantastic achievement to have reached the incredibly high standard required to be accepted.

It is impossible to think about En without smiling - always full of questions and so keen to progress in her dancing. In the beginning, she would frequently doubt her own ability and then surprise herself with the choreography she was capable of achieving or her knowledge of dance vocabulary. We love how she surprised us by being such a talented comm pop dancer too! A true joy to have in class.

En is so passionate about ballet and dance and we are delighted that she was a part of our competition team, representing Diverse at the highest standard. We are going to miss her terribly but are so excited to follow her journey and see where her talent and commitment takes her!

The Diverse Fam wish to say a huge GOOD LUCK to our wonderful student Chloe, as she starts her first day at the prestigious ArtsEd in London. Chloe has been training with Diverse for over 7 years and it’s been a pleasure to watch her grow into the wonderful young performer.

It’s fair to say there will be a large Chloe shaped hole in all of our hearts. Your unwavering positive attitude and huge, loud (sometimes too loud) and bubbly personality will be missed by all our students and teachers.
We are so proud of everything you have achieved and can’t wait to hear all about your future training and successes.

Musical Theatre will not be the same without Chloe. Firstly, who will help throw Cal around the choreography numbers? We will never again say “why can we only hear Chloe Boyle singing in the ensemble numbers, can we all match her vocal energy please” 😂 who will we be able to use as inspiration for Sisi, when we need her to ‘channel her inner Chloe voice!’ 🎤
You’re a kind and funny, genuine and humble inspiration to the students. However please don’t forget to… open your mouth when singing !!! 😜

We will always remember Chloe in Mamma Mia alongside Z**i and Cushla, what a superb trio. We also loved her phenomenal ‘Sisters’ duet with her equally talented little sis Annika and of course her all singing and dancing role as Marty in Grease the Musical at Dubai Opera.

She has played many roles over the years with us but how could we not mention her show stopping performance as Rosie the rapping Granny! We also thoroughly enjoyed her dizzy portrayal of Jan in our Grease production at Dubai Opera.

We at Diverse pride ourselves in hiring the best and most experienced staff, giving our students first class training.

Not only has our phenomenal team grown again this year. We have some super exciting news to share with you all too…

We would like to introduce to you our newly appointed vice principal, and head of BTEC. The wonderful Matt Firth. ❤️

We also have some wonderful new staff joining us, to help expand our already fantastic team…

• The lovely Sophie Greenstreet-Carter who will be supporting Miss Lara with head of Ballet.
• Our very own home grown talent, Emily Savory who trained with us for over 12 years before leaving to university. We are absolutely delighted to have her back with us again
• Olivia Cloud who is here to support and grow our ever expanding MT team
• Rachel Cahill who will be a wonderful support for both our dance and MT team

We are delighted to have you all join us, and we look forward to a great first week and year ahead!

On top of this wonderful lot, we have an amazing admin team, without who’s hard work and dedication nothing at our studios would be possible!

Lara has been a huge part of the Diverse fam since she was a teeny tiny 6 year old. 12 whole years in our studios!

What can we say about Lara? Lara is one of kind. Unique, funny, FULL OUT, sweet and sassy.
Lara is a triple threat performer who excels in dance, drama and singing. Her specialty is playing larger than life, vibrant roles like the hilarious Tania in ‘Mamma Mia’ or evil Miss Trunchbull in ‘Matilda’ last year.

Lara and her Diverse brother Keir were known for their iconic, double act presenting skills. Show comparing at multiple Diverse productions. A tradition which started with Lara who always presented our show numbers in style. Our fave will always be them both rapping to open the show. A hilarious way to showcase our sponsors! So, when her last show fell on her 18th birthday, Keir decided to get the whole audience up to sing happy birthday 🥹 At the end, Keir spoke about how we all feel about our Lara. He said ~ “she lights up every room she enters with her positive vibes and infectious energy”. 🥹 Keir’s words were perfectly put, and the only thing we could add to this, is that she lights up every room AND every stage 💫✨

Lara’s infectious, positive energy, brilliant sense of humour and versatile talent, will be missed by all students and teachers at Diverse ❤️‍🩹

What ever she decides to turn her hand to, it’s safe to say that this young lady has a very bright future ahead of her!

Lara will be pursuing a musical theatre degree at Urdang London, and we can’t wait to come and watch you shine on stage or TV in London. Urdang are extremely lucky to have our girl Lara! We’ll miss you so much! ❤️

Ernestine. Our little Frenchy 🇫🇷 (also known as Ernie) Ernie got her nick name from Scott in her MT class 8yrs ago. It all started when she needed a nickname for the roll call in ‘Nicest kids in town’ when the students performed Hairspray, and now, it’s stuck for life!

Ernie attended classes with us for 8yrs and what journey! She originally joined as a once a week, cute little hip-hop kid. But now she graduates an extremely versatile, multi skilled performer, in all styles of dance and theatre.
Ernie has always had that special star quality that you cannot teach💫
She has just always understood how to feel and flow through every movement with flair, style and class✨
On the competition circuit Ernie always rocked the stage, coming away with crazy scores ~ 96 & 97/100!

You may remember Ernie as the over confident ‘Cha Cha’ in Grease a few years ago in our production of Grease the musical or recently in this year’s Dubai Opera show as the ‘front centre’ girl selling it big time in MJ, or the sassy Jazz Funk number with the iconic red gloves!

We are so excited for Errrrrrrnestine (read in a French accent) to be completing her training at Urdang, gaining a Musical Theatre Degree.
London… you better watch out for this little sassy queen!

WHY THE DIVERSE BTEC?​

Our elite BTEC course is auditioned for entry.

In partnership with Pearson Education International, we provide a fully bespoke, KHDA approved, BTEC course which includes first class performing arts training, alongside academic studies​

This hugely successful learning model enables students to further their performing arts training whilst also continuing their academic studies​
We offer a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice​

The equivalent to 3 A-levels worth up to 168 UCAS points​​​

This full-time, high level college experience based on a UK study programme​ is a pathway for school leavers who are post GCSE and interested in a career in dance and musical theatre, professional performance and the wider context of the dance industry including business​ for the performing arts​

A full time, 2-year educational programme (Over 20 hours per week) inc. BTEC, work experience, tutorials and enrichment activities​​

Learning, training & performing with professional teachers & artists within purpose-built studios in a professional Performing Arts environment​

A true and unique vocational learning experience
The Diverse BTEC is different from any other BTEC in the region. Alongside the BTEC qualification, Diverse are providing full-time vocational training, giving the students the full, college level, training experience. Helping to make the transition from BTEC to a vocational degree course, seamless

Why should you train

We are the only school in the region with an extensive Alumni of west end and blockbuster movie/TV success stories. Check out just a few of our graduate successful movie and professional west end musical credits.

For those performers wanting to peruse a professional career in MT and dance, we have level 3 BTEC in performing arts. This full time course is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Another fun fact - Did you know diverse have 💯 percent college success entry for the most established degree and university courses in theatre. 🎭

We are still in shock that was awarded top school at our 2nd competition final EVER. Thanks so much to for organising a superb competition. It was an experience of lifetime that we will never forget.

Our students/school were awarded the most medals in the whole completion to win this award, competing with 36 countries from age 5yrs - 29rs old. Not only did we win TOP school. The UAE were awarded winning country 🇦🇪 with 293 points/Diverse won 284 points for our country. 🇦🇪
