As part of our IB-CP programme, the Secondary CP programme offers students an opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge relevant to their chosen career path by carrying out work placements in real work-life situations.

In a world where climate change is no longer is distant threat but a pressing reality, the ‘climate fresh’ programme offers student an understanding of the challenges we face 🌎
This week JBS Secondary students were given the opportunity to take part in the ‘climate fresk’ simulation on to gain an understanding of what is needed for a sustainable future.
Many of our students and parents gained their white belts and became official ‘freskers’ and will be utilising their new titles over the coming weeks! A very well done to our Grade 10 participants 👏🏼

We were completely wowed by our Grade 10’s personal projects!
We witnessed an amazing display of our Grade 10’s hugely impressive personal projects; including a self-watering eco-system, a forest eco-system, a sustainable dress made out of recyclables, an RC car and a turbocharger engine!

JBS hosted its University Fair last week: it was an exceptional event that brought universities from the UAE and around the world together under one roof, providing our Grade 11 and 12 students with invaluable opportunities.

Last Friday was a remarkable day as we revealed 'The Mangrove Cafe' following a breathtaking renovation! Taaleem’s Vice Chairman, Mr. Adel Zarouni, had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon. The morning was filled with enchanting piano melodies from our talented students, seamless support from our secondary students, and a delightful selection of food and refreshments from Leela's Lunches. A big shoutout to our Aspire class for baking delicious cookies for everyone to enjoy!

From PreK to Grade 12, the IB programme provides students with a world-class, inquiry-based learning experience that is linked to real life examples, enabling young people to be prepared for a future that is constantly changing. We also offer senior students an alternative practical option into the workplace or university through studying the IB Career Related Programme (IBCP). JBS also offers the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Information Technology (IT), including the units Communication and Employability Skills in IT, Computer Systems, Database Design, Website Production, Digital Graphics and Computer Animations.
A Taaleem school, JBS prides itself on high academic standards, however we are more than this. Truly excellent education is about developing a passion for life-long learning and a capability for independent thinking.
