When is the best time to photograph your garden projects?

The general answer is: whatever time you'd like. But the time that we shoot will determine what the photos look like.

Early morning - the light is cooler and softer and creates a freshness in your images.

During the day - the light is harsher and brighter, and also warmer. It creates harsh shadows which don't work for every garden.

Late afternoon/sunset - the light is warm and soft creating a romantic, sometimes cozy feel to your photos.

Early evening/after sunset - there is little to no natural light left, but the cobalt blue sky makes a lovely backdrop to showcase the lighting in the garden.
