In Loving Memory of Dr. Ram Buxani

With profound sadness, we mourn the passing of Dr. Ram Buxani, a dedicated and cherished board member of Al Noor Training Centre for People of Determination, on 8th July 2024.
For 42 years, Dr. Buxani's unwavering commitment and heartfelt contributions have been an integral part of our journey.

His leadership, compassion, and relentless advocacy for people of determination have touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on our community. Dr. Buxani's legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire and guide us in our mission.

We extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Buxani’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to illuminate our path.

May he rest in eternal peace.

🌟 SIBLING CLUB in AL NOOR (SCAN) 🌟

On 1 June 2024, 31 incredible siblings came together at Al Noor Centre for a day of learning, empathy, and connection through the SCAN activity. They shared their stories and knowledge about disability, engaged in powerful empathy exercises, and expressed their feelings through art. 🎨💬

From navigating wheelchairs to communicating via AAC, they got a glimpse of the challenges their siblings with disabilities face every day. The day was filled with understanding, support, and a sense of community. ❤️

A special shoutout to the amazing Psychology and Social Work Department for making this possible. And now, our journey continues with a new WhatsApp group for ongoing support and sharing. 📲🤝

Our VT staff, Shahjahan, Zakia and Sabira attended “Able to Save Lives” course on 6th June 2024, received certificates for the same.
