Our Story

Whipped is a Dubai-based home grown brand that started back in 2014 by American expat Gina Pistone; a mom of 3, an avid life-long baker, 80's movie lover...and also quite sprinkle obsessed. Gina first started selling desserts under the brand Whipped at the Arte Market located at Times Square Mall in Dubai. It was the perfect opportunity for this home baker to test the market, burn a lot of caramel, and have many, many sleepless nights developing recipes. The menu you'll find on our website is a direct result of 4 years of R&D, determining what her customers loved and kept coming back for.

In 2017, the time came to make a decision about where to take Whipped. It was time to take a leap of faith and take the brand to the next level. The opportunity arose to do a collaboration with Rice Creamery, and in March 2018 our Flagship was born.

A Message from Gina

What I want my customers to experience at Whipped:

From the first bite, the most important feedback I want to hear from my customers is 'that's fresh!' and of course, ' ooh, that's good!'

My intention with Whipped is not to sway you with fancy desserts that have flames, smoke, and melted chocolate oozing off the plate and onto the floor. That's my not style. I'm here to offer you something that is home made, with love. My creations are thought through, made with only high-quality ingredients (no fake vanilla in my kitchen) and most importantly, no weird preservatives or ingredients that you (or I) can't pronounce. I pride myself on creating desserts that remind you of home.

One part of Whipped that is so incredibly important to me is, I want to know my customers. That's of course why we're called Whipped,the neighborhood bakery. I wanted to recreate that feeling of popping in to your 'around the corner' local bakery back home; the place you went to as a kid, and now you take your own children to. The place where they know your name and know your favorite order. I think sometimes that connection to your neighborhood often gets over looked here. So head on over, bring the kids (and your appetite) and leave the calorie counting at the door.
