📍The Ancient City of Apollonia

The place where Roman emperor Octavian Augustus studied, represents one of the most important cities of the Mediterranean world. Inhabited by Illyrian tribes, the city was colonized in the 6th century BC. AD by Greek settlers.

There are numerous archaeological monuments such as the theater, the acropolis, the agora, the city wall, the Paleochristian mosaic in the orthodox monastery which catch the visitor eye to come and explore.
