🏢 38 Pushkin Street used to be called Tarkhanovskaya when prosperous and wealthy entrepreneur Araqel Afrikyan was an owner of this beautiful building.

🏢 From 1918 till 1920 the building was a home for Movses Silikyan an Armenian general who served in the Imperial Russian Army during World War I and later was regarded as a national hero in Armenia for his role in the Armenian victory at the Battle of Sardarabad.

🏢 It was from the balcony of this building that the residents of Yerevan used to receive information about the situation on the battlefield from May 21 to May 27, 1918.
