Angola rig count and activities, May 2023(by ANPG)

Ten (10) drilling units were active in the month of May, of which five (5) were drillships, namely West Gemini, Sonangol Libongos, Valaris DS-09, Sonangol Quenguela, Drillship (Skyros), and semi sub (Scarabeo 9), Tender SKD Jaya, Tension Leg Platform TLP-A, Jack Up Shelf Drilling Tenaciou, and one (1) onshore rig FALCON HP-1000.

Work was carried out on twenty-five (25) wells, nineteen (19) being producer wells, five (5) injector wells, and one (1) appraisal well, for a total of 12,095 meters of drilling; as well as the completion of two (2) producer wells, two (2) injector wells, five (5) interventions in producer wells, and one (1) abandonment injector well.
