Last Thursday and yesterday the two MULTIPLIER EVENTS in the context of the project BYE, POLARITY took place at BRG Klusemannstraße.👩‍🏫The project and the developed materials were presented to students and teachers. 🗣

A WORKSHOP ON DIVERSITY was also held, where students discussed controversial topics and were made aware of the importance of treating each other with respect, appreciation, and empathy, despite differing opinions. 🤝🫂

In addition, students presented the great UNIFYING POSTS they had created as part of the SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE under the hasthags and launched within the project! 🤩 Their engagement and the creativity of their posts were rewarded with a prize! 🏆

Previous week the last Learning Teaching and Training Activity in the context of the RIVET project took place in Graz. The RIVET peers once again used their experience with the peer review method to support bit schulungscenter in developing a responsible internationalisation strategy! 🌎

As part of the activity, the management, the head of the international department and a trainer were interviewed to find out how far sustainability is taken into account in the international activities of bit schulungscenter.🌳

🎶🌈MUSIC UNITES PEOPLE! 🌈🎶

This was the conviction of the Austrian and Romanian students who took part in the learning teaching and training activity in Nicosia as part of the project BYE, POLARITY. During the event, which took place in October, they came up with the great idea of producing a RAP VIDEO expressing their values such as HUMANITY, SOLIDARITY, EMPATHY, and JUSTICE. Do you still remember the project Fit4DigiLinE? 🤔
The successful project enters a new era! 🤩

Building on the former project, the project Empower4DigiLinE (Empower for Digital Linguistic Education) aims at equipping teachers with tools and skills to teach in new scenarios (new technologies, AI etc)., supporting them in the provision of digital resilience and using digital tools to empower learners and promote sustainability and inclusion. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

To enable this, the project is working on:
👉a report on the current state of language teaching post-Covid
👉an online course
👉a digital resilience game
👉and a video-based MOOC

To get this new project started, the Kick-Off meeting took place last week at the lead organisation Työväen Akatemia in Kauniainen (Finland). The consortium discussed the first steps in the project and the next procedure.🔜

Last week the 3rd transnational project meeting of the BYE, POLARITY project took place in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. Since the project ends on the 31st of December, the project team gathered to discuss the remaining steps to finalise the last project result – the GUIDE for young people to become AMBASSADORS OF A UNITED EUROPE🌟.

The challenges ⛰ and achievements 🏆 of the project as well as the dissemination 🗣 of the project results after the end of the project were other important topics of the meeting.

3️⃣ MOOC: Free online course, focused on the needs of the EU market. It covers the most useful tools, rising trends and redirects advanced learners to other free quality content.
4️⃣ TUTORING CHATBOT (Facebook): A training resource to complement the MOOC and help learners with common queries and follow-up studies, to make sure they integrate the knowledge and skills into their daily practice.
5️⃣ VA's TOOLBOX: tools for VAs’ activities, and presents case studies to offer guidance on a wide range of digital skills, thus helping learners to get a comprehensive view of possible growth areas.
6️⃣ COURSE MATERIAL: to provide teachers and trainers of future virtual assistants with activities and methods to train the learners engagingly. Additionally, to the 17 workshop scenarios presented in this course material, some information about Blended Learning, the incorporation of digital tools as well and some evaluation methods are presented.

The results of our Access2Learn project are in their finalisation phase 🥳

What results did we create?
🔸 a policy paper that highlights the situation of low-skilled adults and blended learning
🔹 a competence catalogue that summarises the skills that are necessary for successfully completing blended learning courses
🔸 learning materials and videos for low-skilled adults to develop these skills
🔹 a self-evaluation tool to evaluate the learners' competence level
🔸 two workshop concepts containing practical exercises for class to bring blended learning and career-related issues closer to low-skilled adults
🔹 a handbook including recommendations relating teaching low-skilled adults
🔸 a user guide for all project results
🔹 a podcast for adult educators with the topic "blended learning and low-skilled adults"

Last week the Learning Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of our project bye, polarity took place in Nicosia, Cyprus. 🇨🇾

Students, teachers and trainers from all partner countries came together and discussed their perspectives on polarity and polarisation 🌝🌚 exchanged country differences and ideas on how to counteract it 🗣, and most importantly, students took active action by creating unifying content on social media under the hashtags and .

Additionally, together with the teachers and trainers, they produced a multilingual music video 🎵 expressing the importance of unity, which you will find soon on our project website. 🤩

The LTTA week ended with receiving a sign for diversity, hope and peace 🌈 leaving the project team feeling confident that this training activity served young people to become ambassadors of a united Europe 🇪🇺 🤝 actively shaping their future and standing up for their values such as respect, freedom, empathy, awareness, tolerance and courage. 🫂🌟

Lifelong learning means that we learn throughout our whole lives - it starts when we are babies 👶 and doesn't end as long as we are alive 👵. And learning doesn't only happen in school or other courses, but we can find it in many different areas of our lives

This already shows the great potential of us humans: We are able to learn something new, whenever we want to! 😎

The more new things we learn, the more benefits we have: we become more self-confident, we can contribute in conversations with different people, we have higher chances in the labour market, ...

Thus, never stop being curious! Try to learn as much as possible! 💡

🌿 Exciting News from Padua, Italy! 🇮🇹

In the last days partners from Austria, Italy, and Turkey gathered in the picturesque city of Padua for the 3rd project meeting of the Erasmus+ project Women4Green - Women in Power for a Green Economy ! 🇦🇹🇮🇹🇹🇷

🌱 Women4Green is on a mission to inspire and empower young women between 14 and 20 years to kickstart their careers in green jobs, providing them with essential knowledge 🙌

During this meeting, we took a moment to evaluate the past two years of the project and set our sights on exciting next steps:
✅ finalising and piloting our innovative learning material
✅ putting the finishing touches on our workshop concept for young women
✅ brainstorming for and planning a job orientation game and a Girls' Day dedicated to the green sector.
✅ planning the training event for young women for the upcoming year
✅ planning the next podcast episodes and discussing the strategies for the online community
✅ conducting quality and risk management to ensure the project's success.

But it wasn't all work! 📚 We also had the incredible opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich history of the city of Padua. 🏛️

On 22nd of September, we are celebrating a language festival in the beautiful city of Graz! 🗣🥳

During the whole day, kids and adults can participate in many different activities like workshops, cultural programs and exchanges with wonderful people.

We are very happy that we as bit schulungscenter are part of this festival again and thus can contribute to promoting this great diversity of humans and languages in Graz.

22. Sept.😀🥳 Ein buntes Sprachenfest im Herzen von Graz - Graz feiert seine sprachliche Vielfalt!

Den ganzen Tag können Kindergartenkinder, Schülerinnen und Erwachsene an vielen Aktionsständen, an einer Sprachenstrandbar mit Urlaubsfeeling, in ein spannendes und vielfältiges Workshopprogramm sowie in ein umfangreiches Kulturprogramm in die bunte Welt der Sprachen eintauchen, und die kulturelle Vielfalt der Stadt kennenlernen.

Und auch heuer ist die bit schulungscenter wieder gerne als Partner mit an Bord!

In der Landeshauptstadt Graz leben 163 verschiedene Nationalitäten. Nach Schätzungen bedeutet das, dass in Graz mindestens 150 verschiedene Sprachen gesprochen werden. Großartig!

Diese Vielfalt sollte nicht in erster Linie als Barriere oder Problem gesehen werden, sondern als ein kulturelles wie auch ökonomisches Potential!

For one year now, we have been working intensively on the topic of mental health in Vocational Education in course of the Erasmus+ project Ahead in VET. 🤓📝 We want to equip trainers and teachers with sufficient skills and competences to deal with the mental health problems of their learners. 🗝

Now it was time to evaluate the work done so far and plan further steps in the project to achieve the best results. 📝🧐 For this purpose, the project consortium spent 2 days together in Rijeka, Croatia. 🇭🇷📌

We are thrilled to share an update from our recent transnational partner meeting held in Bucharest 🇷🇴 as part of the Erasmus+ project REMCO-upskilling COunselling workers for REMote, online services provision.
This two-day event on the 4th and 5th of July 2023 brought together dedicated professionals from six European partner organisations (bit schulungscenter GmbH, CREFOP Oradea, Exelia, Innovela sprl, Sveučilište u Rijeci / University of Rijeka and IAL Nazionale), aiming to extend the supply of learning opportunities that support and reinforce key competences for mental health workers to plan and run online counselling sessions optimally

Besides overall project and quality management topics 📋, the progress of the project results was evaluated and discussed and the next steps in the project were planned 📅. Additionally, the further dissemination of the project and its results was planned in more detail📣
🔜Soon the Open Educational Resourceson on mental health counselling are going to be finalised. Furthermore, the first steps for the toolkit for effective remote counselling were discussed in greater detail.

The meeting was a fantastic opportunity to learn, share experiences for the further project progress, and build stronger partnerships across borders. We are grateful for the partners active involvement and dedication to making the REMCO project a success.

🤩 AHEADinVET project update 🤩
In June we worked on the interviews with VET trainers and teachers to talk to them about the curriculum in the project. 💬🗣
We talked about the everyday problems with learners affected by mental health problems and the important contents of a curriculum for teachers.

➡ All project partners from 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇧🇪 Belgium and 🇦🇹 Austria conducted interviews, which are a building block to identify the needs for skills and competences for the AHEADinVET curriculum📋.

Only a few months left until the end of our project. So, we all used the time to work intensively on the last project results in the beautiful city of 🇪🇸 Valencia 🇪🇸

Last week, from 19-23 June, the project partners of IQ-DigitS Project met for the 2nd Learning, Teaching and Training Activity in the wonderful city Foligno, Italy🇮🇹.

Together with our partners Academy CES , Učilište Studium and our host EGInA Srl , we discussed the possibility of introducing a digital certification opportunity for VET/AE providers, compatible with the Europass Digital Certification Infrastructure (EDCI).🧐

It was a productive two days of meeting: As well as evaluating the project’s first year, we worked on the different project outputs to achieve our objectives of promoting lifelong learning, training teachers and promoting the adaptation of curricula specifically for our target group. 📝✏️

🧠Brainstorming and defining our ideasof for our various videos, the content of the learning modules and the booklet has been a large, intense and creative part of our TPM2.

🌍RIVET Transnational Partner Meeting and Peer Visit🌍

Last week the RIVET project team gathered in Belgrade to look at the progress and the next steps of the project.

What was discussed:
🌿The criteria and indicators catalogue for social, environmental and economic responsibility in the internationalization of VET
🌿The digital self-evaluation tool to enable VET institutions to self-assess their responsibility in internationalization
🌿The learning materials that aim to help VET providers to implement or improve a responsible internationalization strategy

At the same time, the peer visit at the Serbian project partner school BAPUSS took place and the peers worked intensively again to find out about the strengths 💪 and development areas 📈 of its internationalization strategy.

Also, thanks to the efforts of the Serbian project partners, the stay in Belgrade became a pleasant, enriching and successful one! ✨

The German podcast episode was in production last week about the main field of ♻️ environmental technology♻️. We had the honour to have the podcast interview with
Susanne Supper, the Managing Director and Cluster Manager of Green Energy Lab, one of Austrian's largest innovation laboratories for green energy. 😊

We did not only get an insight into the field of environmental technology, but also had a sneak-peak in the daily working life in this field.

Last week📅 we had the honour to take part in the final event in the Erasmus+ project CLIKC that took part in the rooms of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.🇪🇺

Next to the presentation of the CLIKC project and its results, we were able to listen to amazing speakers from the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Commission, the European Students’ Union, All Digital and the Lifelong Learning Platform.🤩 The main topic was "transversal skills", its importance for nowadays working life and its assessment and recognition. We got very interesting insights and had the chance to network.🤓🌐

In addition, the project team conducted their last project meeting 🗓, discussing the final steps and deadlines a well as developing plans to ensure the sustainability of the project on the long-term.

➡️The results will be available on the Erasmus+ result platform after the end of the project.

We are looking forward to keeping on working on this crucial topic!🧐❗️

Under the topic ➡ "Erasmus+ as a driver for innovation in education", the final event in the Erasmus+ project TestU took place in Graz 🇦🇹 last week.📅📍

The participants of the event did not only get interesting and useful information about the Erasmus+ program, but were also able to take part in a workshop about the e-learning platform testu.eu.. 📱💻 E-Learning platforms in general offer simplified access to continuing education in different areas, also to language learning. Although e-learning platforms for language learning are nothing new, testu.eu offers many innovational aspectsℹ️:
it is free

➡the site has a rich library of existing exercises/tests
➡you can add/create your own exercises/tests
➡it is with free copyright (CC-BY), so easy to re-use existing content
