Our proposal for open competition AHS Baden provided an adaptable hybrid structural system with an open spatial room concept around a central entrance hall. The porous space allows for all classrooms to extend into open niches and floods the central hall with natural light.

Good news! We received an honorable mention in the open competition for kindergarten and community center in Pyhra, Austria.

The jury appreciated an extremely compact design concept, which is harmoniously integrated into the structure of the existing surrounding.
The kindergarten and community center are designed on two levels under a characteristic, multiply folded roof. The slight natural slope creates the extension for the kindergarten outdoor area and becomes the podium for the community center.

Some memories from our last office trip to Ljubljana. As a BIG SEE Award Winner, we had the pleasure to present our Arpex project and to take part in the architecture event. It was amazing to meet so many interesting people.

How to handle project monitoring and controlling processes perfectly?
VR headset is our favorite piece of office equipment.
We use it at every stage of the project. It allows us to check single details which makes the design excellent. We also use virtual reality to explain a project to a client.

Corner balconies/corner terraces
The stepped shape of the building creates courtyard-facing balconies and terraces. The corner balconies’ position ensures optimal light exposure and allows views to the greenery. At the same time, the maximum privacy for residents was provided.

Street Facade
The development is designed as a porous block that provides proper sound-protected inner courtyards and allows pedestrian passage at the same time. Furthermore, the building scale and the facade's rhythm are referring to the neighborhood.

Let us present the first rendering of the Raiffeisenstraße project. The exceptional quality of our terraced buildings and two generous green courtyards create an ideal living environment.
After the urban plan approval, it is time to deliver the application documentation. Our team is working intensely to make every single project detail perfect!

Yesterday, the city council of Graz approved the urban plan Raiffeisenstraße / Puntigamerstraße. The urban plan is based on our winning competition entry for Residential buildings Raiffeisenstraße. The political stakeholders highlighted the exceptional quality of our terraced buildings and the creation of two generous green courtyards. Furthermore, Petersbach will serve as a natural habitat for animals and insects in the north of the development. 🐈🦋🐛

We love to present our projects to the clients on the interactive flipchart. It alowes us to create fast notes and sketches which makes discussions more efficient and productive. After the presentation all notes and drawings created and modified using the digital flipchart are saved and sent directly by email to the meeting participants.

University of Vienna / book depot / competition entry
our proposal is based on a simple 7-level volume which we extended in several floors with planter boxes and thus formed a monolithic sculpture covered with dense vegetation. Casted in pure white concrete the building serves as background for its occupation by nature. The planters serve as natural cooling device and furthermore store water in the soil for later evaporation. architecture and nature benefit from each other in a symbiotic way.

Concept study for three multi family houses near Graz. Each house combines four units in a modulated volume to create generous terraces on each floor. The corner terraces provide comfort and privacy. Natural materials wood and concrete support the harmonic integration into the rural surrounding.

We love to do housing! For each project we aim to find a specific design solution to create a unique yet functional building.

Our latest housing project at Pensionsweg in Graz received building permit. Currently we are working on the detail planning and construction is expected to start in spring 2022!

Back in black! It’s always exciting to get back to an executed project after some time and get a fresh impression on the design. ARPEX headquarters is one of our first realized projects and the design turns out very robust in function and durability. The black faceted facade adds an elegant layer to the simple industrial office building. We are glad that the client takes very good care about their new home. .time.pl

In our competition entry for Caritas School Extension Grabenstrasse Graz we developed a cascade courtyard which opens to the historic villa at the center of the school campus! Good bye 2021!

Just in time for Christmas the latest publication of Villa Marie arrived! This time we are part of a wide range of bungalow designs from all over the world!

Our competition entry for Kindergarten Mühltal Leoben wasn’t exactly what the jury appreciated. Nevertheless we still believe the concept of a stringent grid creating an open structure with kaleidoscope spatial character and high connectivity is a contemporary approach for such a function!
