This work explores the potentials of motion tracking in digital fashion by infusing the aesthetics and shapes of a piece with qualities from Club Dance Cultures.

At this year`s Ars Electronica Festival Fashion & Technology sets up a laboratory experimenting with colour, movement and sound.

Exhibition projects are created by MA-students Genevieve Howard, Julia Moser and Magdalena Neuburger.
The designers will give you individual insight into their work daily from 12am-2pm.

PIGMENT PRODUCING BACTERIA FULFILLING FASHIONABLE DESIRES.

Project by Julia Moser

Dyeing textiles with pigment producing bacteria from coloured waters instead of colouring waters through the dyeing of textiles is the mission of this artistic research.

project by Genevieve Howard
Genevieve Howard uses the voice as an input to control the anodic oxidation process of reactive metals such as titanium and niobium. Giving colour and form to these materials with her voice.

September startet das Ars Electronica Festival mit gewohnt starker Beteiligung der Kunstuniversität Linz: Mit einer Vielzahl studentischer Projekte, Ausstellungen, Performances, Workshops und Laborsettings rückt „LOOPS OF WISDOM“ das Nachdenken über eine sich verändernde Welt in den Mittelpunkt.
■ Hauptplatz 6, Hauptplatz 8, Strafsachengalerie, splace am Hauptplatz ■ Der Kunstuni Campus zum Ars Electronica Festival 2021 ist dieses Mal so groß wie noch nie.■
