Renate Reich zu Gast bei Atelier Ingo Eisenhut - eine super schöne Veranstaltung mit ganz persönlichen Führungen durch unsere Ausstellung. Auch Kulturstadträtin Verena Pöschl war begeistert von meinen „Häuserwelten“ die ich in diesem Rahmen erstmalig präsentieren durfte. Ich habe viele nette Gespräche geführt und ganz neue Menschen kennengelernt, ein tolles Wochenende! Very happy 😍😊👍

"The World Is On Fire" Acryl on Canvas, 60 x 60 cm

What about a little jungle-walk? "Redberry Jungle", 2021, Acryl on Canvas, 60cm x 60cm

Why do I paint nothing else but houses??? (or almost, beside my jungle elements: leafs trees, and flowers, plants, algae...) Well, I've always been in love with architecture and nature. My father was an architect (or something similar...) I saw him drawing plans when I was a kid, and we were traveling a lot. I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and I grew up in a colourful, peaceful (then!!) oriental setting, a magic world full of scents and sounds, I always will remember warmly. I was playing on huge exotic carpets where one can dream and invent fantasy-worlds on your own. Many of my paintings are like carpets. Many are colourful. When I start to paint, I sometimes don't even know where the journey will go. I am steadily curious and ready for something new. Would be great to take you with me for a short trip. This is my smallest artwork, only 20 cm x 20cm - inspired by the wonderful, colourful architecture in Mexico; can't wait to see it in real and to travel to Mexico one day!

This artwork called "Colloredo" is part of a very colourful series of (for me - as I work mainly on smaller ones) large paintings, size 100cm x 100cm. I did it in Rust/Neusiedlersee during my exhibition in "Galerie Hospitium Domus Artium" in September 2020.
