Soroush Shams, born in 1997 in Iran, began his musical journey at the age of 12 with the Persian percussion called "Daf." Continuing with a passion for other percussion instruments, he gained experience performing them in various groups and concerts. With a strong interest in music education, an opportunity arose for him to start teaching the Daf at a young age. This experience had such a profound impact on him that teaching, in addition to his deep passion, became one of his primary concerns.
During this time, he also developed an interest in the "Setar", one of the traditional Iranian instruments, and started learning to play it. Upon completing high school and entering university, he decided to pursue his studies in music at the undergraduate level to follow a professional music career. This marked the beginning of his journey with the "Tar," the national instrument of Iran.
Upon completing his undergraduate studies and gaining extensive experience in performance, teaching, theoretical studies, and composition, he made the decision to continue his studies in music education, his main passion and concern. However, due to the absence of this field in Iran, he decided to pursue further education abroad. In 2021, he was able to secure a full-funded scholarship from Turkey and continue his education in music education at the Ankara Music and Fine Arts University at the master's level. In 2023, he was accepted into the Erasmus+ internship program of the European Union. Currently, alongside teaching the Tar, Setar, Daf, and music theory fundamentals at music institute in Ankara, Turkey, he is engaged in research and study in the field of music education, particularly focused on modal and Eastern music, with a special emphasis on Iran.

Eric Ziegelbauer, born in Vienna in 1997, grew up in a musical family and was in contact with the sound of Austrian Brass-Music from an early age. After these musical beginnings he listened to a CD with the music of Louis Armstrong and decided to be a trumpet player. His teachers include Josef Wagner, Johannes Hötzinger, Bernhard Pronebner, Gerhard Stockhammer and Josef Burchartz. Besides trumpet, he also learned to play the piano, self-taught at first and later on with lessons from his mother Ursula Ziegelbauer and Kaori Nishii.

Over the years, he played trumpet and piano in many genres, including orchestral music, big band, jazz, chamber music, contemporary music, pop, church music, improvised music for theatre shows and many more.

After finishing school and doing his civil service as a paramedic, he began to study composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Axel Seidelmann (2017-2019) and Michael Jarrel (2019-present). In 2019, he also began to study trumpet with Bernhard Pronebner at the same university.

Eric Ziegelbauer ́s compositions have been performed by several ensembles and soloists, such as “Ensemble ISOLISTI” (Antwerp) and “Chorus Alea” (Vienna).

His music is fresh, emotional, unpredictable and warm. As a composer, he addresses the following questions: Is it necessary to show the ugly side of the world in music? How can one create a new kind of “tonal gravity”? Where are the borders of so-called “musical genres/styles”? What moves people in a globalized, 21st century world?

Nava Hemyari studied electroacoustic composition from 2012 to 2017 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), practicing for the most part algorithmic composition, and, thereafter, has been composing in new arrangements. During the latter period she wrote pieces for organ, which Wolfgang Kogert performed it at Wiener Hofburgskapelle and ORF Radiokulturhaus.

In 2015 Nava started experimenting with her voice – rather a high soprano.

She wrote some pieces for it and performed them and also sang in several performances of works of her colleges and of other composers. What she earlier had used to find most delightful about music and its apprehension was the inherently speculative nature of it. Void of language and visuals, music allows far more varied interpretations than artistic works dependent on anything beyond sound, equally for lack thereof altogether, for being admitted as a blank presence. Having several times performed her pieces and seen them performed by others in front of an audience, she newly found it charming to think of utilizing the two others for more concrete artistic ideas, looking for more concrete influences on the audience. Along with writing songs, Nava has been for a while using text as a formal structure for algorithmic compositions, seeking sound colours conceptually fitting the text. She has also independently written and directed three short films and a music video. Nava has been admitted to the Viennese Film Academy and the University of Fine Arts in Vienna and is pursuing her work in a vaster medium.

Nava's pieces and installations have been performed in VLAK gala, Wiener Konzerthaus, Echoraum, Salzburge Künstlerhaus, Schoenberg Center and ORF Funkhaus.
