Went out to get some early morning fog shots only to realize that I've forgotten to put an SD-card in my camera 🙈 tough luck...BUT I had my drone with me and switched gear.

tbh the second my drone took off and sent back these images back to my RC screen, I knew I'd made the right choice. Best perspective to grab the beauty of the still low sun, the dense fog between the trees, the river leading towards the v-shaped gorge - everything is just perfect in this shot.

👉🏻 there'll be some videos coming up as well, and ofc some more of the moody shots from this fantastic morning. So stay tuned 🤙🏻

The dense jungle of Yucatan and the distinctive shadow of my plane

Had the best seat to capture this unique moment, catching the plane's shadow shortly before landing in Cancun, Mexico 🇲🇽 Gear down already, and the crew ready to arrive at the destination. I was pretty excited and love sharing this with you.

👉🏻 had to twerk it a bit. Sadly the jungle is full of the tallest power lines I have ever seen. Thanks to the new AI in removing them, with no harm to the rest of the image, was a matter of minutes.

Hello from Hase-dera Temple in Kamakura 👋🏼

It's time for some content from my trip to Japan 🇯🇵 Today let's visit the super laid back seaside town of Kamakura in the Kanagawa Prefecture. It can be reached by train from Tokyo in little under an hour and boasts many highlights such as the Hase-dera Temple, which is known for its hydrangeas path. Set on a steep slope of the local hill, the monks of the temple tend to 40 different kinds of hydrangeas, hundreds of them in different colors. They're are in full bloom from about mid-June to earl July. You'll find hydrangeas in the Meigetsuin Temple and Tokeiji Temple as well, but at Hase-dera, once on top of the hill, you'll get a marvelous view of the ocean, too!

Tokyo is full of small, often tiny eateries called い￨ざかや (izakaya) 🏮 Some of the best are lined up in this hidden alley called Omoide Yokocho, located by the West Exit (Shinjuku Nishiguchi) of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. 思い出横丁 is a neighborhood filled with bars, reminiscent of the past, which exudes a nostalgic vibe. It originated from an outdoor market that emerged amidst the ruins of Tokyo after World War II. Nowadays, around 80 establishments, including ticket shops and roughly 60 bars and restaurants, specializing in grilled offal and chicken skewers, g*ther in an area spanning about 2,000 m2. This lively district attracts a lot of foreign visitors but also locals, creating a vibrant yet very crowded atmosphere.

Meanwhile, here's my views on the famous Radio City Music Hall in Fantastic architecture, great neon signs and so much cultural history.

Photo Tips:
These shots were a bit tricky. There was the extreme brightness of the sunlit summer sky, but the dark shadows in the streets. Turned up my ISO to 400 and chose a f6.1 aperture. It's a bit tricky to get all the color information and motion needed for the shot, but with a few editing twerks in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom I pushed the dramatic look to an extreme.

Spiderwebs are miraculous little things. We rarely see them, but when it's damp the little water 💦 droplets g*t caught up in the web's structure creating quite a magical phenomenon. Getting close you can see a million droplets dangling on the strings of the web. Not fragile at all, but very strong and effective.

GM GM ☀️👋🏼 Took a bit of time off as I felt kinda drained. Was pressuring me too much to create and share content regularly, lot of FOMO and fear I can't keep it up. So I spend some time detoxing and working with my cam instead.
