Glein Vienna Socks - Very special edition in collaboration with Vienna-based illustrator Francesco Ciccolella and the Vienna design studio EXEX. Inspired by Viennese originals like the sugary sweet punch cakes, the ‘Heurigen’ taverns in the vineyards, and, of course, our typical coffeehouse culture are our color-block socks the perfect gift for anyone you want to give a little kiss, or as we say a ‘Bussi’!

Our Mules are made from soft, vegetable-tanned Spanish leather, using chestnut and oak bark in a traditional, eco-friendly process. The uncoated, undyed lining naturally absorbs moisture, ensuring a healthy foot climate.

Lou is wearing the Glein Heel Sandal made of soft, vegetable-tanned leather from Spain. In vegetable tanning, the leather is tanned manually in a pit based on centuries-old traditions using chestnuts and oak bark. This process is much more labor-intensive than conventional chrome tanning, but it is also much gentler on the environment, the producers, and ultimately the foot. Dressed entirely in light colors and with a puffed-up bouquet from , Austrian actor Christoph Luser is wearing our linen cap and linen shirt. Linen is one of the few fibers that can be grown in Europe. Its production is significantly more environmentally friendly compared to cotton, as it is purely mechanical and requires no chemical additives. Greetings from the production!

We exclusively use top-quality, organically certified cotton that is manually cultivated and harvested without the use of genetic modification, chemical, or synthetic pesticides. Farmers employ beneficial insects and natural remedies such as Neem extract for pest control. Due to it’s favorable climate and soil characteristics, Tanzania is particularly well-suited for organic cotton cultivation, where reliance on artificial irrigation can be largely avoided. To maintain soil fertility, biodiversity, and prevent soil erosion, our organic cotton is grown in crop rotation. Farmers receive fair compensation and insurance coverage in case of crop failure.
