Eίμαστε ευτυχείς και υπερήφανοι για την απονομή του βραβείου "White Ribbon" στη συναδέλφό μας, Νεκταρία Κακούτση, Αναπληρώτρια Μόνιμη Αντιπρόσωπο της Κύπρου 🇨🇾 στον Οργανισμό για την Ασφάλεια και τη Συνεργασία στην Ευρώπη (ΟΑΣΕ) . To βραβείο 🏆 δίδεται, σε ετήσια βάση, σε εκπροσώπους συμμετεχόντων κρατών στον Οργανισμό, οι οποίοι επέδειξαν ιδιαίτερη αφοσίωση υπέρ της προώθησης της ισότητας των φύλων και εργάστηκαν προδραστικά για την ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών ♀️.

We are happy and proud that our colleague Nektaria Kakoutsi, Deputy Permanent Representative of Cyprus 🇨🇾 to the OSCE, was honored with the annual 'White Ribbon' award 🏆. The award is given to OSCE delegates who have shown outstanding commitment to advocating for gender equality and proactively worked to advance women's ♀️ empowerment.

The Head of the Security Policy Department of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in his statement that the Russian war against Ukraine represents a severe violation of international law and the Organization's principles.

Την Παρασκευή, 26 Aπριλίου 2024, η Μόνιμη Αντιπροσωπεία της Κύπρου στα Ηνωμένα Έθνη 🇺🇳 στη Βιέννη, με υποστήριξη του Γραφείου των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για τα Ναρκωτικά και το Έγκλημα (UNODC), συντόνισε συνάντηση ενδιαφερομένων για την ίδρυση Περιφερειακού Kέντρου Στόχευσης (Targeting Center) εντός του εκπαιδευτικού κέντρου CYCLOPS 🇨🇾 (Κυπριακό Κέντρο για την Ασφάλεια Εδάφους, Ανοιχτής Θαλάσσης και Λιμένων) στη Λάρνακα. To Κέντρο Στόχευσης θα προσφέρει στην ευρύτερη περιοχή νέες ευκαιρίες για συνεργασία, αυξάνοντας την ασφάλεια της αλυσίδας εφοδιασμού στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο.

On Friday, 26 April 2024, the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the United Nations Vienna 🇺🇳, with the support of the UNODC - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, coordinated a stakeholders engagement meeting for the establishment of a Regional Targeting Center in the CYCLOPS 🇨🇾 Training Center (Cyprus Center for Land, Open-Seas and Port Security) in Larnaca. The Targeting Center will provide the region with new opportunities for cooperation, increasing the security of the trade supply chain in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Am Freitag, dem 26. April 2024, koordinierte die Ständige Vertretung Zyperns bei den Vereinten Nationen in Wien 🇺🇳 mit der Unterstützung des Büros der Vereinten Nationen für Drogen und Verbrechensbekämpfung (UNODC) ein Treffen für die Einbeziehung von Stakeholdern bei der Gründung von einem Regionalen Targeting Center innerhalb des Ausbildungszentrums CYCLOPS 🇨🇾 (Zypriotisches Zentrum für die Sicherheit von Boden, Hochsee und Häfen) in Larnaka. Das Targeting Center wird Kooperationsmöglichkeiten in der Region schaffen und die Sicherheit von Lieferketten im östlichen Mittelmeerraum stärken.

H συναυλία-θεσμός τελούσε και φέτος υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Παιδείας, Αθλητισμού και Νεολαίας καθώς και του Υφυπουργείου Πολιτισμού της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.

Brahms-Saal des Wiener Musikvereins, das vom Zypriotischen Kulturzentrum Wien mit Teilnahme des Jugendsymphonieorchesters Zyperns und der Musikschule von Famagusta organisiert wurde. Das etablierte Konzert, das uns erneut mit Stolz erfüllt hat, stand auch dieses Jahr unter dem Ehrenschutz des Ministeriums für Bildung, Sport und Jugend sowie des stellvertretenden Ministeriums für Kultur der Republik Zypern.

As we approach the end of 2023, let's remember this year’s Cyprus Gala Concert🇨🇾🎼, organised in the packed Brahms hall of the Wiener Musikverein by the Cypriot Cultural Centre of Vienna with the participation of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Music School of Famagusta last November. The concert, which once again filled us with pride, was conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and the Deputy Ministry of Culture the Republic of Cyprus.
