Great night out with our InterState friends here to complete in th EMPIRE Johnnie Walker Classic 8 Ball Tournament. With a bonus visit from an old Mate (Shane Kilpatrick) in town to celebrate his 70th.
Final day of the tournament today so come and see an excellent field playing for this great title.

Scary news today. Mick Delahunty just called to say Jack Halligan was in palliative care and not expected to last long.
For the few people that didn’t know him he is a genuine Legend of Pool globally.

Caught up with an old Mate (Frank Gamble) from back home yesterday.
We talked for hours about the people (many we have lost) and places we used to go to. He got to meet Maree and Carmen. Absolutely brilliant time ❤️

Alyssa, Brendan and River left us this morning l.
The Kiwi group that came over for the cruise. Sorry to see Niv go today and we’ll all be separating tomorrow

OK I’ve recovered from last weekends loss in the final of the SA Masters. Survived a couple of close ones in the quarterfinal against defending Champion Roland Green and semi over Jason Ahmad (both Super League team Mates) and looked gone at 1-4 down in the final against Legend Stacey Vine.
Found some old form and got back to 5-5 then missed a chance to go in front but missed a linking ball. Played well in the next frame then went to sleep on the Black.
Well played to Stacey but the result could have gone either way.
Positive result for me with the Old Dogs coming up next week.

Well the Europeans have shafted us.
There was a Special AGM to r***e the decision to have Australia host the World Championships in 2024.
Our players have been participating in this Championship since 1993 - yes 30 years of travelling around the world to compete (myself included-1994 & 97)
The GOAT Alec (Iceman) Evreniadis travelled 14 times. Now they believe the cost and the burden of coming to Australia is too much.
Once in 30 years !!!!
I would love to see a Tri-Nations resurrected. Let’s say UP YOURS to the World body and play a Southern Hemisphere Championship initially but invite other Countries down here to participate ( Malaysia, Singapore etc)
