Flash back to my very first digital drawing turned print. I drew this on my iPad by tracing some Dahlias and Geraldon Wax I had photos of. The benefit of being a florist for 15 years, I have A LOT of flower photos. Super useful for tracing florals :)

Scheduling some social posts with previous work so that the algorithms don't eat me while I'm out camping with my family :) Hope you'll all having a lovely week end and that your warm and toasty (unlike me who is probably freezing by butt off!)

New product from Cosmic Rebellion Seasoning means new labels. Highlighting their current branding with a wash of pink. These will be available from Cosmic yeeros so keep an eye out on both pages for availability.

I put the collection "Role Play for Days" up on Spoonflower a few weeks back and have starting selling some of the small scales :) I hope someone tags me in what they make!

A new website for Annabel Hammer Acupuncture to go along with her new branding 🙂 Annabel got professional photos taken at her clinic so this project was a breeze to put together with so many good images to work with.

Had to distract myself a bit from bawling like a baby! Jeez that last episode of Dawsons Creek, I KNOW what's happening and yet I always cry like it's the first time.

But anyway. This is my submission for the Jurlique art call :) Just a mockup of course, but seriously it's a dream of mine to see my art on a brand that everyone knows!

Finished the Creative Studio Collective Christmas Mini Collection Challenge. I had fun drawing this one. And it's winter based because US buys more patterns than Aussie does. One day, ONE DAY!!!! I want to have a winter Christmas. Preferably the UK and preferably with my mother tagging along so it's not just me complaining about how cold it is. Fun Times :)

Spending the morning chatting business at Tammy Edwards - Tammy's Table & Business Coaching 🙂 I met this lovely human being who specialises in writing content, have a looksie at KM Communications :)

This weeks submission for Spoonflowers Kid's Hide and Seek challenge. I went with Snakes and ladders and added some little ghosts, and them made it really girly and a lil bit chaotic :) Pretty sure my daughter would love this!

And because I could NOT stop myself I made 2 more blenders for my Role Play Collection. All Stars and Fantasy Florals. I'm going to put this collection up on Spoonflower eventually too. I hand drew all these elements with a fineliner and a mini sketch book and then vectored in Illustrator. And unlike my normal patterns I didn't clean them up so there's texture and imperfection galore!

Inspo for this one was playing role playing games with sword fights and magic potions. One of these patterns is more magical, the other more mighty and 2 blenders with feathers and arrows. These are being submitted to Kinder Cloth Diapers for an art call with Creative Studio Collective.

Upgrading my MacBook meant I could finally link it up with my iPad and mirror screen and I LOVE this feature! I know I can use the illustrator app on my iPad. But mirroring the screen and bouncing between Apple Pencil and laptop touchpad is just so smooth and easy! I’m working on some branding for a florist, can’t wait to share it :)

This was an exciting project. It wasn't just a new logo but a new name as well and Lisa knew what she wanted and then totally went with it when I did something different 😛 Head on over to Courage to Change Collective and have a look at her course if you're wanting to change up your life.

New notepads being sold for fundraising for my daughter Jamboree Camp in Jan next year :) I’m pretty sure she’s going to pinch one of the fruit ones for herself so that’s $10 she going to have to find in bottles and cans lol!

New Branding for Cosmic Rebellion Seasoning and we're pretty close to some matching labels for their yummy seasoning :) Can't wait to get some on my baked potato!

Today I’m drawing for an art call, pretty sure I’m going with a gaming theme. While eating my favourite food and watching Dawson Creek reruns because you can never watch enough teen angst :)

I got a new tshirt! A logo I made a while back now for .art who will be FINALLY releasing a website soon, like very soon, actually soon, stay tuned!

This weeks challenge is utilising their new golden metallic wallpaper, the theme being vintage glam. I had some fun with this! Vintage is not really in my style set and neither is glam, so I did it my way hoping it still suits the brief enough :) I love the shimmer in the paper, I might have to get a sample of this one!

I've been working with the lovely Annabel for a few weeks now; she recently came back to Australia after practicing in the UK. This is just 2 bits of their new branding package. I'm back into Spoonflower patterns again. And this was my first attempt at a mirror diamond layout. Bit too busy and I made an accidental chevron but I'm happy with it :) Voting is still open for the Crustacean challenge.

I have been so busy with client work and school holidays that I have completely neglected my social media! ARGH!

So here is something I worked on last night for a design challenge. In a cheery colourful palette and also in peach and purple (some of my fav colours).

So I’ve recently become obsessed with my Tombow markers. They got delivered the same day I went to Kmart and bought the Ankos, but with the premium price I thought they weren’t really worth it compared to my cheapies. But a few months on and my Ankos are dropping too much ink and making the paper angry and my BICs brush heads have split and don’t do a smooth line. And meanwhile my Tombows are winning.

But also, on my desk my Tombows are just sexy! That long black barrel which sits taller than all others in my pen jar, they remind me of the alphaholes that become my fav book boyfriends. They are better and they know it. They have become the marker I hate to love, hate to crave and totally can’t afford. And I’m getting chubby again so stop sending me donuts and send me a Tombow when you want to make me smile :)

Spoonflower Beach Day Challenge - Hot chips, seagulls and shells is what beach day is to me! With a rainbow sun to brighten it up and add some more colour :) Might add some more shells to it before the competition starts but this will do for now! I'm going to call this pattern Hot Chips and Gulls. Available for licensing.

This is what my morning looks like… Chilling in a florist shop while undoing all the Valentine’s Day changes to the website, eating a stale sprinkle donut (still tastes good) and sipping on a b-b-berocca. My bones hate me and I’ve barely seen my family, but it was a fun valentines day week of floristry :)
