I've never been so proud of a stack of MCN before, or quite so afraid that they would topple into the dirt 😅🥰

Todays helper? Well, not helpful but his favourite place to sleep has always been the sewing table 😅 Does anyone else have pets who have to be involved? We've got 2 cats and 2 dogs in our household, plus the very active 10 month old, it's very busy here but I couldn't imagine not having my pets 🥰

We've been a little quiet on socials recently, currently still working away on our tester nappies, while getting organised for first days at daycare and uni to start back up 😅 It's been a little hectic. My fiance is on baby duty today while I spend some time getting stuck into the testers, 🤞 that they'll be in transit sometime this week!

How sweet does little Ed look in one of my very first tester nappies!? Jodi has been using cloth for a whole lot longer than us, with little Ed being cloth babe number 3 😍 and I was delighted when she agreed to be involved in all the testing phases 🥰

How sweet is this fabric?! 🐨🦘🐸 Generously donated to me by .fabric.station , this will be sewn up in the next month or so and balloted off, with all proceeds going to the CFS here in SA.

Tester V2.1 is current out to dry before heading off to a lovely family who has much more experience with cloth than we do in our 8 short months, I'm so excited to hear what they think!

Tester version 2 is in the works! Boy am I looking forward to getting my proper snap press, I'm sure my hands will be thanking me!

Gave Tester V1 a run yesterday, and can definitely say that my monkey definitely gave it all he could 💩🤦‍♀️🤣 BUT, the good news is that everying held up as I'd hoped 😃

Tester version one is complete! I cannot explain how excited I am to get this on my boy ☺️ I have a few tweaks to make for version two but overall I'm pretty happy with it,

Testing phase one has begun ☺️ I'm still waiting on a few bits and pieces, including a bigger snap press to make adding all those snaps on a bit easier.

Photos don't do this gorgeous fabric from .fabric.station justice, I cannot wait to see this sewn up into a nappy 😍

I can't wait to share my creations with everyone! For now, I'm excited to 'have the ball rolling' after sitting on the name and idea behind 'Monkey Bums' I've finally started ordering supplies and put together this little logo with a few of my favourite colours 🧡💖🐵
