Walk for Justice 2024!

Thanks to Luke from Axios and Aro from StrataVote for joining us (Melanie Foster) on the walk this year.

The Kenseo team managed to raise over $800 this year to support in providing free legal services to vulnerable people in our SA community.

Did you know the first Friday in November each year is 'Love Your Lawyer Day'? (Yes, it's been a thing since 2001!)

The day was created to try and help with all the negative connotations about lawyers and get people to share their positive experiences.

Chances are your lawyer got into law because they want to help people and the community (and they might also have been told that they were good at arguing), and at its core, being a lawyer is being an advocate and taking on your legal problems and solving them on your behalf.

Meet Melanie Foster, the Director of Kenseo Law! With over 10 years of legal experience, including 5+ years in the tech sector, Melanie has a comprehensive understanding of business and commercial realities. Her expertise in negotiating and documenting significant transactions and handling large litigation matters make her an invaluable asset to her clients.

‘A futuristic lawyer’ generated via the OpenAI’s AI platform DALL-E. Recently we have been looking at the ethical and regulatory issues of emerging tech like generative AI. On the one hand it’s a new tool for creatives and makes digital art more accessible. However, laws around ownership of digital work and copyright have not kept up, there are also issues with algorithm bias and how to deal with these programs producing ‘deep fakes’ and explicit images.
