At Forest School SA, we have two very important guiding principles: kindness/equity, and environmental stewardship. In both of these areas we look to our First Nations leaders and Elders to guide us, we vow to listen to and amplify the voices of Mob whose stewardship has kept country peaceful and thriving for countless generations.
The theme of this Reconciliation Week "Now More Than Ever" resonates deeply, as we recognise the urgent need for reconciliation and healing in our country. We commit to continuing our journey towards reconciliation, listening to and amplifying the voices of First Nations peoples, and working towards a more just and equitable future for all.
We Acknowledge and pay our respects to the Peramangk people who are the traditional owners of the unceded land on which we work and play.

A very exciting day at Forest School today! Louis the koala who has been rehabilitated by the Southern Koala and Echidna Rescue Ltd after an unfortunate car accident was released into one of our gumtrees! The children loved watching him climb the tree to his new home. We found him later in the day in a different tree! The volunteers were so knowledgeable about koalas and we learnt so many interesting things! If you ever see a sick or injured koala you can contact SKER on 0435 056 252 🐨 🍃
