It's essential to follow proper aftercare to optimise results and minimise potential side effects. Here are some general guidelines:

No vigorous exercise, alcohol, active skin care, make up or intense heat exposure for 24 hrs.

Avoid flying internationally for 2 weeks.

No dental work for 1 month.

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

Avoid touching the treated area to reduce the incidence of infection.

Sleep elevated for the first few nights to reduce swelling.

Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen.

Do not massage the treated area unless directed by a health professional.

Avoid skin treatments for 2 weeks.

Treatments often take a minimum of 2 weeks to settle and it is recommended to attend a review at this point to assess the results with your practitioner.

It's essential to follow proper aftercare to optimise results and minimise potential side effects. Here are some general guidelines:

Avoid pressure/touching/rubbing the treated area: Refrain from rubbing or massaging the treated area.

Stay upright: Try to keep an upright position for at least 4 hours after the treatment to prevent the product from migrating to unintended areas.

Avoid strenuous exercise: Refrain from intense physical activities for the rest of the day (up to 24 hours) to minimise the risk of increased blood flow to the treated area/s.

Avoid makeup: It's generally recommended to avoid applying makeup directly after an Anti-Wrinkle treatment to minimise the risk of infection or irritation. Give your skin some time to heal, typically for the first 4 hours.

No skin treatments to the face for 2 weeks: Refrain from additional skin treatments, such as facials, chemical peels, or laser procedures, for at least two weeks following an Anti-Wrinkle treatment. This allows the injected product to settle properly, reducing the risk of complications and ensuring optimal results.

Skip alcohol and blood-thinning medications: Avoid alcohol and medications that thin the blood for a day or two post-treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.

Olga has been a practicing Beauty Therapist for 23yrs, even though you might think she is 21! According to her, skin and brows are her passion and she absolutely loves her career. Having worked for reputable salons and with prestigious cosmetic brands, she has developed a devotion to results-driven treatments.

Olga will be taking on a senior position at Injectables By Renee so don’t hesitate to ask her any questions, or say hello if you see her beautiful face in clinic.
