We’re excited to announce a new opportunity at our bustling Seaside Bakery!

Position: Baking Production Manager

Are you a seasoned Baker or Pastry Cook with extensive experience in the industry?

We are seeking a hands-on leader to join our Award Winning Family-Owned Bakery.
You would be required to manage the daily production of a variety of baked goods, including pies, pasties, sausage rolls, vanilla slice, tarts, cookies, and cakes.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supervising and managing staff and apprentices, be a collaborative team player, and possess strong time-management skills. A commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and a thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene are essential.

This full-time role is primarily day shifts, with occasional early morning starts. We offer Monday to Friday work, with flexibility in hours and days for the right candidate.

Just arrived home from The Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph Merbein & the Dried Vine Fruit Competition in Merbein Vic.
For many years we've entered the Professional Vanilla Slice, Innovative Vanilla Slice & Apprentice Vanilla Slice Categories, and after taking out 1st Place in both the Innovative & Apprentice categories for the past 2 years running, we decided to focus this year on our Traditional Vanilla Slice.
Aswell as a new category they've brought back with the Vine Dried Fruit Section - Fruit Mince Pie

We were very happy with our entries this year & although we didn't win in the top 3 Vanilla Slices, the competition was extremely close.
However,
We are very excited to let you all know that we took out 2nd Place in the Professional Fruit Mince Pie Category 🎉
We had some in the shop at the weekend & will have limited amount available this week for you to try.
Christmas production will then begin in November 🎄

~ Customer Service, Food Handling & Barista Experience essential

~ Will be required Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am & 5.30pm

~ Approx 15 - 30 hrs

✳ Management Position also available for the right person
