How is winter practise going guys? as you age consistency is key :)

Hey guys. It's autumn. colour changes and musical colour changes too before we hit the black and white of winter. keep practising while the weather gets colder. It makes for better overall hand health as you are drawing on your circulatory system to feed your fingers with warm blood to infuse power into your playing.
The last band I was in was up in the coldest part of the adelaide hills. Long story short. It was freezing by 8pm at night. I worked all day tutoring students and then had to go up to Ashton to go for band practise. One night I had a kangaroo jump right in front of me and switched my wah pedal on during a verse section of a "Jet" song. we had a giggle over that.
Music should be fun.
It's not always.
Winter is coming. eat raw ginger and if you are an omnivore have some fish oil capsules too.
When you are older you have to take better care of your body.
Healthy body, mind and soul eh?

Hey my musical friends.
A quick heads up.
I have been doing other money spinning things for the last four years to pay off my mortgage faster as covid nonsense cut off potential students discretionary spending.
Iv'e become very good at property maintenance .
I now have some souls that do jobs for me so I can focus more on my musical journey.
I'm back as of february this year
one student per month incrementally.
I'm at 6 dedicated souls so far.
I'm also not going to do 50 students per week anymore.
I'm capping it at 20 only. maybe 1 or 2 exceptions as I want to enjoy the process with them without pressure like it was before.
My current students are going very well as expected.
I don't take on anyone who is not prepared to put in the effort. It's truly your show to make it happen. All i do is show the basic mechanisms of how to do what I think is one of the most noble crafts on this planet that is learnig how to play music with positivity and passion.

If you can't understand why so many people are dying at rates not ever seen in history then I expect you may have cranium rectumitis.
That is easily aleviated with a strong ego laxative and a good dose of a hard look in the mirror at ones self.
Keep playing and go for what you love.

Outrageous

This year my daughter and I have decided to do performances together. Very excited

Hey people.
One of my music students gave me an expensive tuner today, about 20 plectrums and over paid me for guitar hire today as he has been promoted in his job and wants to resume in a year or so. wonderful.
It's so good to be appreciated for your efforts as a tutor of a fine craft.
I'm also only able to take on 10 more students at this time.
Keep practising and you will see results. not just copying but trying out new technique always.
Concentrate and be aware of limitations and aspirations.
It's only a matter of time if you are regular and focussed
