Congratulations !
Each year we select the "Best Stall" and we are thrilled to announce that the delightful Laura from is the 2023 winner!
Not only is her cheese range incredible, her smile contagious and her kindness to fellow stall holders makes each market with her a joy to be part of.
Sure, she may be found putting together a quick mosaic on her stall just before trade, but that is all part of the style & charm of her stall!
Follow https://www.instagram.com/milklesscheese/ to find out where you can grab your milkless cheese Christmas treat!
Each year we hold a 'new to you' t-shirt sale at our festivals with money raised going to animal charities.
This year we are pleased to announce that $250 has been donated to Greyt Greys Rescue
With major reforms to the Greyhound Industry being announced in SA yesterday, South Australia’s Greyhound Racing industry has been given two years to clean itself up or it risks losing State Government support.
https://www.premier.sa.gov.au/media-releases/news-items/major-reform-recommended-for-greyhound-racing
It is time to get behind all greyhound rescues and help raise awareness for these beautiful beings.
"Greyt Greys Rescue Inc. (GGR) is a registered, not-for-profit charity dealing in love and long snoots since 2017. We are completely volunteer-run and passionate about our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds in Victoria, Australia.
Our vision: All greyhounds deserve a chance at life.
Our core value: No greyhound left behind, no matter how hard.
Our actions as an organisation always reflect this.
All our greyhounds are fostered by volunteers in a loving home environment, to prepare them for pet life and to ensure we can assess their needs for their forever home. Our greyhounds are straight from the racing industry, some come to us from pounds and shelters, and occasionally some are privately surrendered to us, having already spent time as pets.
To date, Greyt Greys Rescue (GGR) has forged 355 life-changing bonds between greyhounds and their adoptive families. In 2022 alone, 47 greyhounds found their forever homes through our program."

AvoMerry Christmas
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kaurna people, the traditional custodians whose ancestral lands we gather on.
We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and relationship of the Kaurna people to country and we respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs.
Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
We are thrilled to be able to bring Vegan Picnic to you today at the MAB Tonsley Innovation District | Sunday 10 Dec 11am-5pm under the giant roof to let us soak in the vegan vibes instead of the rain!
To get to Tonsley Innovation District from the City the best option is to get the Flinders Train line which takes 20 minutes and stops at Tonsley Train Station, a short 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, the W90 bus from R1 - North Terrace takes 45 minutes and a 9-minute walk.
There is FREE parking around the area too!

Hey! Tell your friends we are still on for Vegan Picnic! Peace Begins on Your Plate! 10 Dec 11am-5pm tomorrow but now at the undercover MAB Tonsley site !
So glad we did not have to cancel and can come together to celebrate a cruelty free Christmas with you all.
We have tried to share the news as much as we can but ask for your help too.

We love dogs. 🐾
We really really do.
HOWEVER this new venue is not the most ideal space to bring your fur friends.
If you can leave them home on the couch with some Christmas movies on (we hear Santa Paws is a fave), they may like this more than being in a crowded space with limited access to dog bathrooms (ie grass)
We are doing the very best we can to flip this event over to make sure it goes ahead where many have not across our city.
Please be PATIENT and KIND to our team as we navigate all the logistics as we won't be able to respond to all your queries.
See you Sunday at MAB Tonsley Innovation District, 6 eastern Promenade Tonsley , Gate 1 or 8.
All the same line up of stalls, speakers, musicians, and hopefully all of you !!
Selfie's with Santa!
This year Santa will be coming to visit us at 11.45am - 12.30pm on Sunday 10 December.
Bring your kids, your fur kids and visit with the red suited symbol of Christmas for a selfie & tell them if you have been naughty or nice this year. Either way, you get a snack pack from !
Head to the information booth where we will have some calendars from Moorook Shelter available throughout the day with gorgeous pics of some of the rescue happy stories from the shelter too!
"
1 More Sleep!!
There are lots of things for the kids to do this Sunday.
Table tennis is a hit! (get it?)
Check out the chess games with Knights & Bytes
And don't forget to come see Santa at 11.45am near the Vegan Picnic Information booth too!
Did you hear the great news???
We are having an indoor picnic!
See you all at the relocated venue, MAB Tonsley Innovation District this Sunday 10 December 11am-5pm
We all loved the MAB Tonsley site earlier this year and are thrilled, and thankful, to be holding Vegan Picnic here on Sunday.
So glad we did not have to cancel and can all come together to celebrate a cruelty free Christmas with you all. We ask for your patience as we navigate through this quick turn around and hope you understand that we cannot be available to answer all of your questions. 🙏🏻
Stay tuned to social media posts and our website for updates and just come along on Sunday 10 December to 6 Eastern Promenade Tonsley from 11am-5pm
We cannot thank enough for coming to our rescue yesterday and allowing us to use the MAB Tonsley Innovation District for this comings Sunday 10 Dec.

We cannot thank our supporters enough for contributing in a year that has been $ challenging.
Thanks to VegKit of the Fries & Trust for all you have done for us, and for the animals.
You 'could' bring along a water finder stick OR take a look on our maps to find the location of the drink fountain in MAB Tonsley Innovation District, follow the trail of food & drink stalls or ask one of our friendly volunteers where to get a drink this year!
Thanks to SAWater for installing their Quench Bench for us to stay hydrated over the day.

“As a crew member, we make many sacrifices and take many risks to help prevent whaling in antarctica. The horrors we saw around the coast of Africa with overfishing and human trafficking is a reality of the fishing industry that I saw from my own eyes”
Haans has been part of 11 campaigns and sailed all over the world doing her part to help save our oceans and our precious marine life and at the end of 2022, she was asked by Paul Watson, the founder of sea shepherd to be the director of the captain Paul Watson foundation Australia. Haans has many stories to tell and hopes she can be a good role model for young people to follow their dreams and save our planet.

We are honoured to have Chris Delforce from the Farm Transparency Project join us on Sunday 10 December on our stage at 3pm
This year we will be bringing 15minute talks to you throughout the day to help us all connect and remember why we are striving for a vegan world.
The work Chris and his team have done over the years is invaluable in raising awareness of the plight of billions of animals on our planet and we thank them for all they have done. Come see Chris on stage at 3pm and visit Farm Transparency Project at their stall to hear more about their work.
Maker of one of the scariest movies ever (WatchDominion.com ) and defender of animals, Chris is an inspiration to us all.
Well, we have mostly been blessed with lovely weather over the years however this year it looks like we need to come prepared.
So please bring your brolly, maybe even gumboots, and let's dance in the rain together amongst great people, delicious food and for the vegan cause we are all so passionate about !
We know this may cause challenges, logistically, and with numbers, but so many people have put a lot of effort into the event and we do not want to miss the opportunity to showcase this to the public.
True vegan festival fans will come along, as proven with a recent Vegan Camp Out Australia event in NSW, despite the rain attendees had a ball and loved being part of a community and supporting one another.
We ask for your patience & kindness as we navigate our way through.
See you at Vegan Picnic | Sunday 10 December 11am-5pm | Rundle Park/Kadlitpina
*IF anything does change we will update you as soon as we have information.
**remember when ya'll used to complain about too much sun 😎
